I disliked how slow you made it, It infuriated me so much that I litereally ran to the store to buy missing ingridients and started making this. I messed up making the caramel sauce and instead got condensed milk sauce. Works well enough and the end result wasn't that bad. Minus points for mistyping the recipe in the description. The Time to make this, excluding wait time for cooling is 20 minutes.
@Ghania Harouz Personally, I would either leave the cream out at room temperature for several hours (there is no risk of poisoning) or gently warm it very slightly. Otherwise, there is a slight chance that the caramel will break.

Technical question: did you preheated the cream before mixing it with the caramelized sugar?
I personally would warm it until lukewarm, if it's cold there's a risk the caramel will sieze
