I prefer Zirkzee more. He plays in a role perfect for Arsenal. He can play like a defensive false 9. He loves to come deep or go on the wing and carry the ball. He is good at both feet. Isak is still a bit injury prone. And 100 million for an injured player is not good. But hey, we are not the people who get to decide. Arteta and Edu will bring the player they want and is good for us from these 3.

No way you’re getting him and if you are you aren’t getting him for ‘around £70 million’ when we literally signed him for £63 million before he was premier league proven. If he comes to you he’s coming for a British transfer record fee.
The only reason Newcastle sells to Arsenal is that FFP forces them to sell and no one outside the Premier League wants to buy him or if he becomes crippled.

If Arsenal are really serious they should get Isak and put him on the Left W, and make martinelli rotate with him (Martinelli is still raw and we can improve on his position)
and then get Gyokeres and put him as a main striker.
To save money they can forget about Diomande or just buy 1 midfielder for £50m and try and get Nwaneri into the first team squad.
There is ways to juggle things.
We have a low wage bill compared to the other big teams and we have to make sure we get the correct signings as we are in a very good position right now.
I think Arteta also wants to get some wing backs too, but that might be for next summer.
If Chelsea can sell all there junk, we must have the ability to get at least £120m for our unwanted players, honestly it should be £220m but we will take £120m.

Only problem is, he is going to be injured a lot more with Arsenal than with Newcastle. We are constantly pressing as a team. Better to leave him in Newcastle and replace Martinelli with a good dribbler and get a good back-up for Saka. We need to invest to replace Partey and Jorginho. Then also replace LB. Get a good CB back-up, pay for Raya and get a back-up GK. Isak does well where there is space. With our team he won't have much space. So he won't be as effective. None of the high pressing team will go for Isak.

It's to do with PSR rules, only allowing owner investment of £35m/season, which is fuck all. Newcastle definitely don't need to sell Isak though, that's incorrect. Newcastle will sell other players such as Wilson, Almiron etc. to help fund more transfers.
It’s total bull created by the media m8, there’s nothing wrong with Newcastles finances, Simon Jordan said if the want to go big again in the market they would have to sell one of there stars, so obviously they just can’t go big or as big in the summer window, also there also the possibility they move on other players like Wilson, Almiron etc… to generate cash, personally I think this is what they will do, when they have one of the best forwards in the league there obviously going to do everything they can’t to keep hold of him.
