Interesting to watch this as I lived and taught (as an English teacher) on the island for three years, in Mytilini. A long time ago, though - 33 years! Molyvos at that time was basically the town itself, so there have been substantial changes since then, as shown by the video. Lesvos went through something of an upheaval with the vast amount of refugees arriving from Turkey and the pandemic, but looks as if it is now on an upswing economically with the return of tourism. That first visit onto the beach Terry reminded me of the film ‘High Plains Drifter’ with Clint Eastwood. Great film. That really looked a very peaceful place. We are trying desperately to get away if we can but I’ve just started an 18 program of Chemotherapy and immunotherapy so a lot is going hinge on how I fare with that. That place could just be the tonic and pick me up I’d benefit from. Thanks for showing us around. Excellent video as usual mate. You both take care and look forward to your next instalment .
