Molyvos is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Lesvos, located 60 km west of the capital of Lesvos, Mytilene. Molyvos is Greek Island tourism at its best, with the stunning medieval Molyvos castle standing at the top of the cliff overlooking Molyvos town and Molyvos harbour, it's a real tourist magnet and a must visit when on holiday in Lesvos. When travelling through Petra and along the coastal road, the view of Molyvos is truly breathtaking. If you are coming on holiday to Lesvos be sure to add Molyvos (and Petra) to your list. We also recommend the Petra train as a fun way to travel between Petra and Molyvos.
Lesbos or Lesvos (Λέσβος) is a Greek island located in the northeastern Aegean Sea. Lesvos is the third largest island in Greece and the eighth largest in the Mediterranean. Molyvos is situated on the northern part of Lesbos island, just 6 km north of the popular town of Petra.

I'm coming for 30 years on Lesbos. Speciale in Petra, but Molyvos is number 2 to stay. A real paradise.
