Cool, although to open the cylinder you had to use the long sticks that you removed during the game, the ones that locked it in place. They have shapes that fit on the sides of the cylinder and tell you if they must be pushed up or down ;)

Seeing how Cuby did it (a spanish who solves and reviews puzzles): In the end, to open the cage, you have to use the extracted sticks.
Each one has a different shape at the tip, with an arrow indicating which direction the cage bars are moving.
And in the correct position, the bars unlock the wheel that opens the cage.
If you want to see him (he talks a lot, but gestures with his hands indicating the way): ruclips.net/video/oteY9aEb9f0/видео.html (about the 21:00 minute)

It was just too tight and therefore, not coming out easily. So I grabbed a flashlight to look the mechanism from inside. So 1. I needed to use some strength to pull it and 2. Hey Everyone,
I avoided watching this video until just now (because I cheated on the Turtle button.)
As one of the Kickstarter supporters, I just received mine over the weekend. Got to solving it (late) last night. Took me 2.5 hours. My first solve was the slider puzzle, as Constantine fan was child's play, since there was a "map" for each horizontal slide). I may not be that sharp, but the propellers (in the final production version) had "START" etched in that side) were the hardest to crack. But I was able to accurately decode both the those symbols (which were pretty damn clever) and the combination dials (which were *strikingly* clever). But, as mentioned above I failed miserably on how to release the dang Turtle! Yeah I cheated. Boo me. I might have been done in 1.5 if I didn't spend so much time on the stupid turtle. Point is, kids, Don't Cheat. I'm giving this puzzle to my young nephew and I'm going to have detail where I cheated when we solve it together.
Thanks Mr. Puzzle for helping me solve and make it to work this morning
Boo to me for not pushing the (cleverly camouflaged, perhaps) Turtle button.

I also had trouble with the turtle but it's because I felt like I needed extra force to pull the piece back to release the pin. So scared I was going to break something!

Having a built in obsolescence is stupid. The website component on the internet is only good as long as it is live. Still a thumbs up from me for the great video review/solution, not so much for the puzzle.

I also don't like involving the internet in a puzzle.
