@@Mr.Puzzle yeah but I was expecting a story like puzzle ( escape room) where you figure out the puzzle and go on to the next one, and not by try and failure 🤪
You actually didn't solve the little box at the end, you just broke it :D There are little locks on 4 of the wooden rips. They all have different shapes. The keys, which you got out of the box fit in to the shapes and give you a hint in which direction you have to move the rips. After that you can spin and open it.
just got mine yesterday and was pretty hyped. They now added a START marker beneath the "screw". Unfortunately mine had some manufacturing issue, as the thing with the "turtle key" did not work properly and I needed exzessive force to pull out the part. It's funny to see, how both Chris and you totally skipped the puzzle on the cage, cause it is pretty good too. I definetly couldn't open mine without solving it, like you and Chris did.
Mine also needed quite a bit of force...to the point I did everything else and had to confirm I was using the turtle key correctly. My inner cage also popped open prematurely...most likely from shaking in frustration.
Seeing how Cuby did it (a spanish who solves and reviews puzzles): In the end, to open the cage, you have to use the extracted sticks. Each one has a different shape at the tip, with an arrow indicating which direction the cage bars are moving. And in the correct position, the bars unlock the wheel that opens the cage. If you want to see him (he talks a lot, but gestures with his hands indicating the way): ruclips.net/video/oteY9aEb9f0/видео.html (about the 21:00 minute) Hope it is helpful. And sorry for my English, I used the translator.
Same here. But Ramsey didn't pick the lock. Instead he figured out the correct code. And i do don't remember any clicking noises when Ramsey turned any wheels.
I need some help. I got the stick with the turtoise, but then I cannot release the last wooden stick. So it's around 10:21 in this video and I just can't pull the thing. I did just like in the video, but I'm wondering if there's a trick or if mine is just defective.
I did it. In case anybody else has the same problem, I'll put it here. So I wasn't doing anything wrong, but it looks like this last wooden stick was poorly manufactured. It was just too tight and therefore, not coming out easily. So I grabbed a flashlight to look the mechanism from inside. So 1. I needed to use some strength to pull it and 2. It was easier to push the end of the stick, instead of pulling it.
I really liked this box, probably more than the last two, but the part with the "clicks" threw me off. When I starting turning the gear, I felt I was forcing it, so it didn't occur to me that that was the intended method.
I'm still stuck with the side that shows 4 closed and 4 open padlocks. I just can't get the 2nd top slider to move to the open padlock position. Any help appreciated
