    Just got this puzzle for Christmas. It was super fun, there was a couple things that Chris missed there was a wheel you spin to figure out the 3 digit code, you spin the wheel and listen to the clicks that it makes. The number of clicks corresponds to each of the numbered wheels, each wheel has a different design on it which can be seen in a small window while listening for the clicks.
    There was also a puzzle on the final cylindrical piece, you have to use the 4 wooden pieces that were holding the cylinder in place to find which way to move the bars on the cylinder before you can unlock the note. Super awesome puzzle

    • @AlexDiss
      @AlexDiss 2 года назад +3

      Likewise! Although i seemed to do it exactly like chris (albeit a little longer) I felt out where the three wheels should be before discovering the markings compared to the click wheel - I was also worried the click wasn't meant to be doing that.
      Came down to the comments to ask if anyone had worked out how to get the numbers and here you are. Nice one

    • @patricklaune5712

      Thank you for this hint! Can you say also whats the clue on the 3. wheel? The "spikey"?
      * i have it! :D thank you

      The click solution was probably my favorite part. It’s a shame he missed it.

      @partechild0221 Год назад

      I remember getting to the clicks and thinking I was breaking something. Haha That was such a clever puzzle to put in there! That's the one that took me the longest in the cube because I was scare of breaking something, and I didn't notice the patterns right away. Overall, though, it still took me about 64 minutes to do. I love IDventure's puzzle boxes :)

    Hi Chris,
    really enjoyed watching the video and seeing how you approached the puzzle! When you guessed the number of the combination lock at
    16:10 you unfortunately skipped the most ingenious part of this puzzle. Check it again, the solution is there and it's super cool!
    Keep on puzzling!

    Spoiler alert*
    -Hey Chris, I know it’s been five months since you solved this puzzle but each of the three symbols are paired with a duplicate around the propellers. When you put each propeller on the matching symbols it makes a image which matches the symbols on the front and gives you the (number/symbol) that pairs with each of the 3 sliders on the side.
    -Second, the combo comes from the number of clicks of the bottom wheel when turned gives you the number to each matching symbols around the three top wheels. The view hole is right through the front.
    -Lastly, the last safe with the scroll has a combination to it. Each lock you pulled out has an arrow which each fit in their own slot around the cage and tells you if it’s suppose to be up or down allowing you to open.
    This is one of my favorite puzzles so far. I hope you try it again and try these steps. I’m sure you will appreciate it. Thank you for inspiring. I spoke to you about a little over a year ago when I was just stepping into puzzles and how they can help the mind. I now have built a small collection and currently building the Mecanigma puzzle from NKD. Can’t afford the puzzle as whole so I went with the kit. Thanks for the resources!

    Oh.. A very nice detail on the puzzle - that propeller looking thing with the map on it? Around them you can see some symbol, small ones.. Those are alphabets from my language - Bengali - ড ফ ঘ etc. Also.. At 12:55 - they aren't symbols either, that is the number system written in Hindi. So what we have in this box is an alphanumeric system, only the alphabets are in Bengali and Numbers are in hindi.. (Quite an amazing detail for those who have read 20000 Leagues Under the Sea and the Mysterious Island)

    Enjoyed the look of the puzzle so much that I joined the Kickstarter. The price is actually a good bit less than I was expecting and since they won't be shipping until the end of the year, it gives me time to forget how to solve it. I went with the option to get all three of the standard boxes, so I'll have something to keep me busy this Winter.

    Well, hot damn!!! That was 1 of the best looking puzzles you've done. Such beautiful craftsmanship. Can't wait for the next 1.

    I feel like you should record yourself in a escape room that would be epic seeing you figure your way out of an escape room gotta be hard tho since your bascailly the Riddler tbh but nah I like that would be fun

    Love the intro 😲 ! Love the atmosphere and the thoughtfulness of all the decor ! Just one small suggestion , maybe clear off the mat you do your puzzles on so we may focus on just the puzzle and not all the stuff in the background. Good looks man , keep up the good work ! 🖤

      Focusing on the item that's in focus is kinda your job. There's nothing distracting about the decor.

    I can’t wait to get my hands on this! I have the Schrödinger’s Cat and the Davy Jones Locker!!! Just out of curiosity, how are you able to get all these amazing puzzles to solve for us? I am a huge fan of all of your videos! I also liked how you were in the new movie “Spiral: From the Book of Saw”! I did a total double take and was like that’s Chris Ramsay!!! Keep on keepin on brother! 🤘 Hope that one day “Big Trick Energy” is available on DVD or Blu-ray!
