Ok great, but the character wasn't even developed, who cares, plus she has no charisma, and the missions where we explore her schizo delusion are infamous . We don't understand who created the Pantheon, they want to kill an entire city just because Livingstone is a big asshole. The worst part of the story is the character we play: it's 2024, and we STILL have to play a mute character whose face we don't know, nor his personality, nor anything in fact, except 'is his first and last name. I thought he was going to get killed at the end thinking it was the same thing as Bell, but actually no, it's just a random character that we play, and we have to watch the interactions between all the characters and stare as if we were ghosts
Eh, Adler might be memorable. He has charisma and is a kinda cool shady CIA patriot type. But… Yeah. I barely remember the rest of the Cold War and BO6 cast.
Modern developers never played the OG Black Ops with their friends from school because they were too busy being gay so you can't expect them to make it like the original.
Black Ops 6 said my load out name contained profanity, “Semi N U” I alway try to come up with dumb names that reference the gun type and I couldn’t believe the genetic dead ends in that company made that profanity.
BO1 did that too from what I recall. Had a default class for Assault but didn’t let you use the word yourself because “ass is a no no word”. I named my class based on weapons and remember having to change a couple of the names for stupid reasons, in a game about guns
It is such a poorly made game that when you try to stream it on discord, discord recognizes it as modern warfare 3...... That should tell you all about the game
Anyone remember the "Mile High Club" mission in OG Modern Warfare? Where you had to be precise and quick to rescue the hostage? Well Treyarch and Raven Software for Caw of Dooty Nubian Kangs 6 said, "Lol, nope! Here's our plane mission with Tonka tough RC's and bullet sponges out the ass, LOLKAYTHANKSBYE!" This franchise is deader than Elvis.
One of the biggest issues I have with modern tripleA games is that, when it comes to making stealth sections, they always look at modern ubisoft, which is insane to me. There are plenty of excellent games they could take inspiration from: metal gear, dishonored, hitman, sniper elite, alien isolation, deus ex. The last proper stealth game Ubisoft made was Splinter Cell Blacklist, which is decent, but doesn't even come close to the peak of the genre, which was Chaos Theory. As sad as it is, those developers are long gone. Modern Ubisoft has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how to make an engaging stealth game. Look at Star Wars Rebels or the modern Assassin's Creed games... they are boring as hell, have absolutely no pacing, and require barely any input from the player.
Been a fan since the first COD and Cold War got me back into the campaign after 10 years of mediocrity. And I was so hyped for a gulf war game, it was my dream setting for a cod game. And while playing the open world mission I was ready to put it in the top 5 cod campaigns, and then Kentucky happened. And my jaw was on the floor the rest of the game, in the worst way possible. Wow. What a sh*tshow. How could they let this happen? Not only was it false advertising, but I was cringing so hard at how Jane flipped as a character. We are talking Scooby doo levels of villainy. All I gotta say is Adler deserved better. This was supposed to be his game, not Jane harrow who nobody even knows. Biggest waste of potential I’ve seen in a game maybe ever.
They should have just skipped the campaign! Multiplayer only. Campaign looks like its all over the place.. BO1 and BO2 did a much better job in telling a story, from beginning to end.
Funny how you were a cod fanboy and now people are calling you a contrarian for not liking this campaign, and its also funny how this happens the first year cod goes to xbox 🤔
Yo! Griffin was right. I just finished the game and the game goes COMPLETELY OFF THE RAILS and becomes a dumpster fire in the second half. The Gulf War missions were the only good parts. The rest of the game was a dumpster fire. There are HUGE stretches of this game where Call of Duty becomes a friggin Walking Simulator. Wow! The whole finale was just an absolute chore to get through. This was a friggin 5/10 campaign at best.
never been a fan of the black ops side of call of duty, modern warfare was my favorite. However, the original modern warfare games are far superior than the damp pile of dogshit the franchise is right now. I tried the remakes actually enjoyed mw1 but they lost me completely with mw2.
The original Ghost was just a guy who wore a cool balaclava with a skull pattern. They turned him into a super edgelord in the new MW games (pretty sure they also raceswapped him to be a black guy) it's so bad and hilarious at the same time. XD
Griffin, I was there for the live stream and wanted to give it a try on Game Pass after how miserable the night was. I’m sorry, man, but you tried to blow through it, especially the Scud hunting map where a lot of money can be found, and I don’t recall you ever upgrading the safe house. There are modules that allow you to buy perks that include penetration and damage to armored enemies, and RC cars and C4 seems to make easy work of the heavily armored ones. I know the night went south after the Democrat/roof sections, but I’ve been finding routes that made them pretty understandable to navigate that maybe you just didn’t notice (like there’s a path under some stairs on the roof that allows you to walk under half of the guards). Again, I’m sorry, but I think in just trying to finish it as fast as you could that you were too straightforward and didn’t take advantage of what the campaigned offered.
I wish this game was more grounded in reality where these juggernaut enemies don’t exist. I don’t think 90s body armor let these enemies be able to tank full mag of rounds and survive.
im glad people like you exist griffin, you have been calling out this bullshit for years and these companies just dont learn, they killed batman, ruined starwars and fucked call of duty. everything we love burns at the hands of these gaping assholes

This is why I watch your content man you tell the truth and give a simple explanation of what you are playing does it influence my purchase yes why couse I cant waste time and money on this stuff thank you Griffin thanks for suffering were we don't have too
I always said that if Black ops six isn’t good it will be the last call of duty I buy so I guess this is the last call of duty I buy i’m a fool for expecting anything else.
The stealth missions were so lame. It was strick on the amount of npcs able to detect you and janky in the way you get rid of npcs falling down like they have no spine and making ton of sounds.
One of the most disappointing things about the campaign is that they did not have a mission dedicated to the highway of death which is just mind boggling. The highway of death is literally one of the most prominent pictures that come to mind whenever the Gulf War is brought up.
The biggest disappointments for me were: 1) Cerberus being pure ARG faction and not being in the campaign at all 2) No spy like activities despite being CIA (doing the decoding and puzzles in Cold War’s side missions was cool IMO) 3) Lantheon having literally zero explanation for who they are or, more importantly, what their goals are. Are they American version of Perseus? Do they tie into the 90’s conspiracy theories of the New World Order? Are they a group that wants the CIA to be a totalitarian puppet master for the USA and NATO? Are they Ultranationalist or Globalist in character? We don’t know diddly besides maybe they’re rogue CIA… and can field bloody army!
You gotta love the anachronism with the Bill Clinton brochures showing the presidential portrait which wasn't taken until at least 1993, since the game takes place in 1991.
@@eddievancleef6495I thought during dev it was referred to/leaked as CoD Gulf War. Or at the very least that we’d get more story/timepieces than “WarZone with a story added last second as an afterthought”
I was in the stream watching you play through the campaign & somebody in chat questioned who did the narrative writing for the story, thinking it might be Sweet Baby Inc & im beggining to think this person might be onto something Griff. I dunno man, the campaign's story was just sus AF in my opinion.
Congratulations on confirming that racists are not very intelligent. This might be the weakest insult to hurl. But I guess just the presence of anyone non-white is offensive, huh?
I hope that everyone that bought and played CoDBO6 will refrain from doing so from now on. They misled you with the ads for this game which is the tactic they use every time. They hype you up with clips that trick you into believing its going to be great by hiring some big or known names from the film industry, create and edit some epic visuals and you have the perfect recipe for hype. How many times are you going to let that happen? What does it take for you to understand that share holders and publishers do not care about players, only their wallet! Stop investing in companies that lie and start investing in companies that do not.
Developers: "Oh boy, fans sure hated MWIII campaign for being too short, so whats the plan for BO6? We must add filler missions to make it feel long" This campaign was such a dog shit, I had better experience in my fever dream after I've played call of duty too much.
Imagine my shock when i see Griffin Gaming streaming COD. When i hop on to watch, i see RCXD spamming, bullet sponge enemies straight outta TC: The Division, and the game literally turns into Alan Wake towards the end. 😂😂😂
I had an unavoidable glitch that plagued me the entire campaign from the very first mission. In the mission where you have to sneak to the church bell tower to assassinate the rich guy on the yacht, I had to lock pick into the tower. No problem. Climbed up the ladder and tried to hop off at the half way point up to collect the ammo. Theres really no good transition to hop off the ladder to catch onto the ledge so I fell, on veteran it straight up killed me from full health. The load took me right back into the lock pick minigame and from that moment forward, until the very end of the campaign, I had to hear the god awful lock pick jingle ring in my ear. I reloaded, I quit the campaign, I quit the game. And still I had the gd lock pick jingle in my ear. I truthfully just thought the campaign was mid, the weird mission that felt more like it was an easter egg more than anything else really took me out of the experience and guess what, we really did not ever go back to understanding more of the subliminal context so it just felt like a weird waste. The climax, felt like a weird waste of the antagonist. The game sets up a hideout that you can upgrade with money, that the campaign will not supply you with enough to finish the upgrades unless you replay the campaign multiple times. based on the lockpick jingle glitch, you couldnt pay me money to play that campaign again. The zombies is fun, but I honestly could not care about the multiplayer. At all. I loved playing the MW3 multiplayer. Had some of the most fun in cod with the aftermarket parts and conversion kits, but this is really bad. Can't stand the UI, even if its fine and serviceable.
DUDE? DUUUUUUUUUDE, I finally found you, the dude that actually likes call of duty and even likes infinite warfare. Damn straight that was the last great cod game. I would like to know your opinion on the modern warfare 2019 ?
This campaign kinda has me bored there is too many slow moments so far . I just want to go in linear style and shoot, I agree the armor kinda annoying and I’m playing on easy lol
Remember when they would give you a spec ops mission, then they’d pop back out and remind you the consequences and reality of war. You would play as a random army ranger unit or marine unit and you blast your way through war torn streets as a soldier. Now its lock picking, warzone armored super spec ops spy stuff. Miss the simpler cods. They’ve even added warzone mechanics into zombies man. Not buying this ive been burned too many times.
My first “what” was when you were going into Iraq posing as Delta Force Operators to work with the British equivalent, the SAS. Why the writers went this route is beyond me, for one you’ve got CIA’s Ground Branch who has quite a bit of history working with units such as the SAS, Delta and others. Why not just say from the get-go the main characters are CIA Paramilitary Officers and you go into Iraq under Ground Branch. You’re not told the background of the main characters (Marshall/Case) and how they would be able to pass as Delta Force. They killed off Mason and sidelined Woods so aside from Alder you’re left with these docile male characters. Mason, Woods and Adler are stone cold killers but Marshall, I mean look at him. This has nothing to do with skin color btw. The clothes, glasses and just his personality all throughout the game doesn’t fit the mold of what we expect from an operatives in these kinds of games. He resembles a modern male from a major city in the US more than anything else. I see stuff like this in other newer games where they phase out the aggressive masculine savage male characters and replace them with these beta cucks that screams fucking woke
The worst part is when they put you in that female character past i forgot her name cause i don't f care about whatever she is and they force you to do stupid shores and puzzles ,man it was terrible
People have a misguided nostalgia for Treyarch's COD campaigns. Every one of their games forces you into walk-and-talk unskippable cutscenes, forced linear stealth segments, bad pseudo-intellectual stories, and juvenile overly violent content to appear mature. Only team that knew how to make a good COD campaign was the original Infinity Ward team that was disbanded in 2010.
I just beat the campaign last night and I was thoroughly disappointed. I actually loved Cold War's campaign and it was one of my favorites because it had a great grasp on its balance between the spy segments and the typical over the top COD action. BO6's campaign however feels like they wanted to make a completely different game but had to shoehorn it into Call of Duty at the eleventh hour. Supposedly they had four years to work on this game but it feels so disjointed that it doesn't feel like it. I hate how they introduced the idea of being fugitives from the CIA and US government, but they did absolutely nothing with it. Even when you're breaking Adler out of a CIA blacksite, you're fighting Pantheon, not the CIA. Same goes for the Gulf War setting, which is heavily underutilized, which sucks because me and a lot of people wanted a Gulf War COD game for a long time. During the Seperation Anxiety Mission, I literally asked myself "wait, am I playing Call of Duty or Silent Hill?" Huge disappointment. I'm not sure I'd agree it was the absolute worst, but it's probably in my bottom 5
These entertainment media are telling us something symbolically that we need to decipher. I can see it now. It may not make sense logically, but if we understand the symbolism in these media we can understand what we are being told and thus use it to our advantage.

Call of woke will still do numbers because NPCs will not stop buying it
I played it in GoyPass so luckily I didn’t have to outright buy it
I like the multiplayer so yeah

Black Ops 6 said my load out name contained profanity, “Semi N U”
I alway try to come up with dumb names that reference the gun type and I couldn’t believe the genetic dead ends in that company made that profanity.
BO1 did that too from what I recall. Had a default class for Assault but didn’t let you use the word yourself because “ass is a no no word”. I named my class based on weapons and remember having to change a couple of the names for stupid reasons, in a game about guns
@@Kaysab11They’re a bunch of pro-censorship pussies 😂
It is such a poorly made game that when you try to stream it on discord, discord recognizes it as modern warfare 3...... That should tell you all about the game
It's basically the exact same game lol
The bots are hyping up this game. The movement is crap and the gun feels like a pea shooter.
Whats the point of playing the campaign when they gonna change the whole storyline in future multiplayer seasons. Glad I dont buy cod anymore 😂
The last CoD game I bought was the OG Modern Warfare 3 lmfao
They should have just skipped the campaign! Multiplayer only. Campaign looks like its all over the place.. BO1 and BO2 did a much better job in telling a story, from beginning to end.
If they would of scrapped the other modes then this could of just been a dlc for mw23
We still want good stories to be told in campaigns, not some woke diversity quota BS
Funny how you were a cod fanboy and now people are calling you a contrarian for not liking this campaign, and its also funny how this happens the first year cod goes to xbox 🤔
Realist mod always asking the real questions and pointing out the hypocrisy.
Xbox wouldn't have control over this. And it's not the first time. Season passes have had crap like this.
@@stabor90correct, Microsoft may own Activision now but BO6 was pretty much done development by then.
2024 and there are still retards doing console wars bullshit
XD
Black Slop 6 as expected. Even the multiplayer is compromised with DEI slop.
Let's be real most people only play COD for the multiplayer.
surprisingly, amount of people who buy the game mainly for the campaign is rather big
@@cigarstoreI highly doubt that. Its fun to breeze through but we all stay for the Mp
I get it for zombies, and the campaign is like the side content when I'm bored.
The whole game is trash I played one game of zombies and deleted it
@@famitsus987 It's not as good as CW, that's for sure.
I wish this game was more grounded in reality where these juggernaut enemies don’t exist. I don’t think 90s body armor let these enemies be able to tank full mag of rounds and survive.
I don't think they really care about realism when they place women on the freaking frontlines fighting beside special forces
I miss blops 1 and 2 story, a good mix of action and stealth
B-but Griffith it’s a COD game 🥺 it’s not supposed to be realistic or historically accurate 🥺🥺

The stealth missions were so lame. It was strick on the amount of npcs able to detect you and janky in the way you get rid of npcs falling down like they have no spine and making ton of sounds.
As a CoD campaign enjoyer this shit is garbage I felt off during the very first mission, wish it could’ve been like Cold War.
Spoiler: the game is about, and I’m not kidding stopping zombies. Ya the gulf war is only 10 minutes in the opening and that’s it.
Played the first two missions, then refunded it. 😂
and once again people like me that want a good single player shooter go back hungry.
One of the most disappointing things about the campaign is that they did not have a mission dedicated to the highway of death which is just mind boggling. The highway of death is literally one of the most prominent pictures that come to mind whenever the Gulf War is brought up.
The dreamscape missions were boring not nessacary in a cod game...
This a very boring cod 👎🏾
The biggest disappointments for me were:
1) Cerberus being pure ARG faction and not being in the campaign at all
2) No spy like activities despite being CIA (doing the decoding and puzzles in Cold War’s side missions was cool IMO)
3) Lantheon having literally zero explanation for who they are or, more importantly, what their goals are.
Im just sad i didn't see my boy Saddam Hussein in this game
You gotta love the anachronism with the Bill Clinton brochures showing the presidential portrait which wasn't taken until at least 1993, since the game takes place in 1991.
My dad fought in the gulf war. Kinda hoped for something real nice

Call of Duty Black Characters 6
Funny how these people think "diversity" means butch women and black guys.
Congratulations on confirming that racists are not very intelligent. This might be the weakest insult to hurl. But I guess just the presence of anyone non-white is offensive, huh?
Right, you can make racist comments about black people, but I can’t call you out on it.
Good job, RUclips.
I stopped watching after seeing Helen Park turned into a man.
Only saw that part and ending.
Developers: "Oh boy, fans sure hated MWIII campaign for being too short, so whats the plan for BO6? We must add filler missions to make it feel long"
This campaign was such a dog shit, I had better experience in my fever dream after I've played call of duty too much.
It felt like the Modern Warfare 2022 campaign. Terrible pacing with the majority of missions being half an hour long.
call of woke. what a step down from treyarchs last comparatively phenomenal game
Imagine my shock when i see Griffin Gaming streaming COD. When i hop on to watch, i see RCXD spamming, bullet sponge enemies straight outta TC: The Division, and the game literally turns into Alan Wake towards the end. 😂😂😂
I played the first 3 missions and had to turn it off. Shit was garbage
First 3 dude I barely finished the first mission
The writing and the game play style is garbage
the worst thing from my 10 minutes in campaign before i quit was the extremely loud ear rape movie-like sound design.
Why is it Clinton and not Bush Sr or Jr if this is Gulf War
They don't expect kids these days to know or care about history
I read somewhere that most colleges have students who right now can't read. Lmao feel free to check behind me but it's insane to think about
Once I got to the Harrow dream part I just quit, I’m so sick of that shit in COD I refuse to play it now
I have no idea where the praise for this absolute crap is coming from, I mean IGN is a laughing stock, but how could they give this wenk 9/10 :D:D:D:D
From the zombie level up until the end, the campaign was utter cringe.
But Griffin, you said you thought the Multiplayer was hype, right? Does that redeem it?
Yeah. This is just a campaign review
The multiplayer is terrible in this game it's not hype at all
Remember when they would give you a spec ops mission, then they’d pop back out and remind you the consequences and reality of war.
The writing is retarded
The male main character looks like he would serve me coffee at Starbucks
Shit, now I really want to see Griff's version of BlOps 6's story, that sounds like it'd be super unique :o
It’s better than vanguard 😂
That’s not saying much, you’re comparing a pile of shit to a slightly more smelly pile of shit.
Once I seen women in the campaign I knew griffin would say the game isn’t good
The worst part is when they put you in that female character past i forgot her name cause i don't f care about whatever she is and they force you to do stupid shores and puzzles ,man it was terrible
It's very barebones to me, especially the multiplayer.
I’ve played BO1 and 2 campaigns around 7 times through, could barely finish campaign😭 forget what I said about wanting a sequel to ghosts
True
Black Ops 1 & 2 had 1-2 missions each that could be considered "walk-and-talk." You just have terrible takes.
During the Seperation Anxiety Mission, I literally asked myself "wait, am I playing Call of Duty or Silent Hill?"
Huge disappointment. I'm not sure I'd agree it was the absolute worst, but it's probably in my bottom 5
The only campaign that's worse than BO6's Campaign is Kamel Toe's Campaign
Of please, that guy that lost to Reagan in '84 had it much worse!
These entertainment media are telling us something symbolically that we need to decipher. I can see it now. It may not make sense logically, but if we understand the symbolism in these media we can understand what we are being told and thus use it to our advantage.
A cod review from the guy who was diehard defending Vanguard as one of the best cod games in recent years? Yeah I think I'll pass on this one
