One of my favorite songs bar none. I've never understood why McCandless didn't think of how that bus got there as that was the way out. I do admire him for his minimalism and he was a tough kid.
Never saw movie but the song is a tremendous vision of how so many of us want to leave materialism behind and live a natural life. Society puts too many materialist pressures on us and we've lost our soul to insanity of an ugly world. Give me the beauty of nature and freedom anytime. Make sure it's not too cold and I want my partner then we have a life of love and reality.

Verdade! Ele foi corajoso o suficiente pra viver da forma como o coração dele desejava, mas falhou como humano. Ninguém é perfeito e ele não entendia isso, depositava muita expectativa nas pessoas.
