Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I’m a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

I counted about 12 minutes for INS alignment. That feels like a looooong time when you’re sitting at an IRL desk. There is a shorter version, I believe I haven’t tried it yet.
A10CII probably has the longest startup in the game

Way faster
This is for any newbies out there wondering what the different alignments are.
Full alignment:
The most precise alignment but the most lengthy one.
Average alignment time is around 8-12 minutes. Used for when you got time and patience on your hands.
BATH alignment:
A really quick but relatively inaccurate alignment. Average alignment time is around 2-4 minutes.
Only really used for when time is of the essence like a scramble scenario.
And Stored heading Alignment:
Best of both worlds but can only be used if set by the mission editor.
Fast and precise alignment.

The F14 that replaced this thing is way easier to start up and get rolling. Definitely an improvement.

if you use the starter cartiges from the crew chief menue you can cut the time down even further dont have to wait for gc to plug in the huffer cart and ground power

I wish I were rich so I could customize the dash of a car to look like, control like, and drive like a jet. With hundreds of switches and buttons, and levers for everything.
They don’t want you to know this but that can be done with almost no money at all
@@a_catfish5180 Well sure but doing it right in a modern car would be unreasonably time consuming. The amount of knowledge you'd need to make it actually would would be huge.
I put a couple switched in my old truck a few months ago for various things and spent weeks of my free time researching how each switch would have to work. Then came the many many hours spent actually doing all the wiring and installing it into the truck. Nothing I did would have worked in a new car where the ECM reading slightly different voltage would brick the entire thing.
Instructions unclear: Activated ejection seat.
Bought it but still havent had time to touch. I can tell its gonna be very time consuming and fun to master
Realism-Sim nerd from the late nineties here: Don't look at the entire picture, no more than you look at the entire week hike then mountain climb. Break it down into steps, run them a few times, and understand why they're important, and you're there.
Then pick the next thing! :)

These are ideally best used as reminders of the process if you may have forgotten a step. Particularly for this jet when it requires a lot of steps😅 he may have a full length startup vid if you take a look.. there are also others that have posted them as well.
Hey tricker, I need some assistance with the phantoms rwr. For some reason, the phantom can detect Sam launches, but never detects launches from air born targets at all. I tried asking phantom players but they had no clue. I am hoping you have an idea of what’s going on with the RWR. Thanks.
if you're flying in the cold war environment most of the time you're being engaged by IR missiles from enemy aircraft. which an RWR won't detect
@@zulicurah9414 I know the IR can’t be detected by RWR, I’m saying it never detects radar guided missiles, plus I never play in the Cold War environment. In 4YA or Through the Inferno

ACKSHUALLY SIR, it should be BOTH Engine Masters on before starting the first engine, per page 2-9 of the TO- 1F-4E-1 manual 🤓

One thing I've not seen yet is the possibility of a cross-bleed start. I'll look at the unclassified air force manual again, but it may not be possible in this aircraft

Special settings, or VR settings, use screen display or whatever its called, im not home atm.. if that fails go to special f4 settings and offset HB Ui by -300 (left 300pixels)

It’s a bug, they’re working on it. Should be fixed soon.
It's not a bug, it's a feature😅.. they made it so you can move the wheel to either eye or just wherever you feel it should be. Some headsets just start with it cut off. They not this in the manual and on their discord on how to adjust it

You'd be reading a little booklet for 45 minutes.... my guy said cycle the right generator off and then in again. 😂😂
A simple on button that automatically does all this for you would be a way better design 😂
