- We find ourselves in Easter season so the question naturally arises, “What hath the resurrection to do with Mere Christendom?” Investigating this question will protect from two dangers. If these two dangers were rattlesnakes, one of them rattles just around the corner and we should really watch out for him. The other has already bitten us and well, that’s not great. But, take hope, Christendom-via-Resurrection will serve as the anti-venom.
Reformation and Revival is presented by Canon Press.
Outstanding. Thank you from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana!
“When they [the Church] have opened a gap in the hedge or wall of separation between the garden of the church and the wilderness of the world, God hath ever broke down the wall itself, removed the Candlestick, etc., and made His Garden a wilderness as it is this day. And that therefore if He will ever please to restore His garden and Paradise again, it must of necessity be walled in peculiarly unto Himself from the world, and all that be saved out of the world are to be transplanted out of the wilderness of the World.” 1644, Roger Williams, “Mr. Cotton’s Letter Lately Printed, Examined and Answered,” The Complete Writings of Roger Williams (New York: Russell & Russell Inc. 1963), Vol. 1, 108
Ye know if you believe in Jesus, ye will never die? John 11: 25-26
Hilarious in a good way!
i think that is a little before my time so you had a significant influence via elders in the Church as you are relatively young Jared it appears
9:00 Why do I get the sneaking suspicion that the real gripe is that "those saints who are too cool to stand by others" refers to those who have not joined the Moscow postmillennial bandwagon. Talk about "carving out little kingdoms"!!!
say what ?
