I like how Parks still maintained contact with the victim even though the victim and her son were not together anymore. If it wasn’t for her, the victim might have never been found. That’s a true grandmother and a caring person .

This literally had me in tears I feel so terrible for this family and this woman who died like that.. lord Jesus my heart is shattered
Ladies, we need to pay attention to the signs. There are always signs when a man is dangerous and we often ignore them until it is too late. I almost stayed too long, but God sent my mother and grandma to visit and allowed some things to take place that gave me an out. I took it...left with NOTHING, no clothes, belongings, left it all behind. Having my 2 baby boys safe was enough for me and it was the best decision I ever made. Don't tell them you're leaving, just leave! It's so sad that he would do this to her and leave these children motherless. I pray he gets the full weight of justice and that God will keep and comfort the children, who will at some point learn of the details surrounding the loss of their mother. This is truly heartbreaking.

Parks is the Hero in this case. Ms. Parks is the grandmother of the older children of the victim. It was her love and determination in finding the mother of four that cracked wide open this case and the gruesome discovery.

Those kids don't deserve this! My heart breaks for them. I lost my Mother when I was young and it changes everything about your life. I hope they know that their Mom will always be with them. Someday when they have children of their own, they'll see her again in their babies eyes or smile. My daughter has my Mom's exact same eyes and after 20 years of missing her I finally felt at peace.

It’s non-stop. The widespread assaults, robberies & smash-and-grabs were bad enough. Now there are senseless shootings & killings everywhere. A man was shot eating Thanksgiving dinner. A woman was shot sleeping in her own bedroom. A grad student working in a furniture store was murdered in the middle of the day at work. An innocent woman was pushed into a subway train by a homeless man who claimed to be God. Now here is another atrocious & evil crime. We are seeing all of this but many pols & those in the media are downplaying it as “perception” or “hysteria.” I won’t name names but we know who they are. As if surging crime wasn’t enough property crime is skyrocketing, the economy is flailing & supply chain & inflation issues are hitting us all hard. Politicians & DAs are more concerned about the rights & freedoms of the suspects than those of the victims & their families. It is a crazy time & everything is backwards & upside down. As George Jetson once wisely said “Jane, get me off this crazy thing!”

So in a month of this woman being missing and the Grandmother calling the police daily, they never got a Search Warrant and went into the house where she was living and looked through any of her things, phone, clothes, trash or questioned the BF, which the GM said hadn't let anyone know she was missing to begin with? Thankful, the friends finally went over there and looked.
They had nothing to get a search warrant on. The only way you can get a search warrant is if there is evidence of a crime. Disappearing for an adult is not a crime. It wasn't until the dude dug a hole in the back yard and threw out her clothes that there was enough evidence for a judge to sign off.
If they went in there with a dubious search warrant, or nothing at all, they would not have even been able to arrest the guy as any and all evidence discovered while in violation of the 4th ammendment is inadmissible in court.

please if you are going to do a news report about a victim and their family try to take the time out and find out how many kids she has, their ages and their birth genders. she focused on the baby but the older kids were an after thought or not thought of at all. She didn't even say which child was present in the home when the police exposed this nightmare
