She has been in 4 confrontations just that day. The coworker, the ex, the bartender, and the girls in the car. She seemed on high alert all day. Or just a confrontational person.
I thought the same about her sounding extremely confrontational. Made me think some sort of mental break or crisis type issue? I just can't imagine a person having this many disputes about such small things throughout a day unless there's an underlying mental health condition that may have been developing ?
I have a mother and sister with bipolar disorder and during a manic episode even little things will set them off. And mental health conditions usually develop in our 20s, so it wouldn't be surprising if that was the case here.
Thank you for sharing her story! My uncle is still looking for her everyday! She may of been his step daughter, but that is his daughter that he loved and still loves! Please just bring her home!
We’re so sorry she wasn’t looked for more by the police and pray she is found 😢❤ praying for her son to find peace and know his mothers love is always with him
The fact she quit such a good job and the married boyfriends name never being released makes me think he was a lawyer at the firm? And they had her quietly resign?
Wait she got cut off at the bar? Implying she was too drunk. Then she drove home from the bar. And in the footage of her outside the lift she can't stand up straight. How was she even driving in that state? And no one mentioning how dangerous it is to drive in that state. My god.
she looks normal sitting at the bar but why is she drinking so much on a workday, late in the day, when she has to go back to work and later get her son?
The career shift, paranoid behavior, "random" disappearance, and call from Cartel Country tell me she got wrapped in something way bigger than herself. The PD probably knows it and knows there's no hope in solving it. They might be working on a bigger "take down a whole leg of the operation" thing, which would explain why they're not releasing much info
I think her drinking and getting drunk on her lunch break might be a good indicator on why she may have lost her paralegal job. Whether she quit or got fired, I don't know but I do know that most jobs will offer you an opportunity to leave willfully.
Well also if something was going wrong it would make sense that she would drink more. She probably knew she wouldn’t be making it to work anyways and was freaking out. I think there’s a bigger picture to her disappearance because even her family said a lot of her behavior was super out of character.
Just a thought. Maybe her paralegal job found out she was an exotic dancer on the weekends. Not passing judgement. Just wondering if that was a possible reason.
Maybe she left the law firm so abruptly because the married man worked there. And about the apartment… if there are entrances and exits without cameras can we be sure that the guy living there (Ryan?) didn’t go back inside the building trough an entrance that is not under surveillance after he left
This was literally my same thought about Ryan the entire time! I was wondering why they never mentioned it?? If he left only minutes before she arrived, he can have very well possibly still been at the apartment, outside, and met up with her in the area where the cameras weren’t working and did something to her then
I can see it both ways. nanny vs babysitter is different IMO. If Im babysitting and have to be somewhere and was told mother was going to be home by x o'clock, and is usually on time I would be concerned and if I needed to be somewhere and there was no one else to call, police may be the only option
She probably could tell that Prisma was steaming drunk and had to drink drive her car. I’d call the police too, thinking she’s dead in a ditch after coming off the road.
Only 5 minutes in and I had to comment to agree with Josh lol I'm from CT and also imagined Mesquite TX the same, I have no idea why and never been to TX.

I live in Houston & ALOT of these little car dealerships are actually used as money laundering fronts. Just a thought?
I love Kendall but unsure why she sounded so judgemental on this in such a mocking tone 😆 I think it stands out a bunch because I dislike when people respond to me this way.
I’m confused wasn’t she only on a lunch break and supposed to go back to work? She must’ve been pretty intoxicated for the bartender to cut her off and kick her out. And that’s her second confrontation of the day.
Kendall, Josh, & Team: please do an episode on the confusing disappearance of Peter Achermann of Staples, Minnesota. Bizarre circumstances on the day he disappeared and absolutely no answers 15 years later
I’m only 18 min in, but you’ve mentioned her getting into altercations with multiple ppl in very different situations/relationships. A coworker, BFs, a wife, the bartender. It’s noteworthy to me, and apparently this case since it’s mentioned so often
This was NOT a typical day for Prisma! I know all of the things that happened that day (some haven't even been talked about) are seen as strange to the family and those who know her. They know how she acts when she's mad, sad, drunk, etc. she was absolutely not herself that day, whatever the true reason may be 😢
Yep, not to mention how she got out of her car & proceeded to point her gun at some random chicks in a fit of road rage. Idk, I don’t want to sound judgmental but given the fact she worked as an exotic dancer in addition to her combative personality, literally anyone could’ve been involved in her disappearance as she prob had her fair share of enemies
Are you okay?!! I've heard some horror stories about that happening and a woman lost her ability to move and had to do a lot of physical therapy to regain mobility. She had been on an exotic vacation in a tropical place.
I worked in a high gentleman club and had someone put something in my drink one time and after that I learned my lesson and never left my drink outta my site. I had stalkers as well that would wait for me or wait for me to leave and follow me. It's dangerous
To me, 99% of the time when I see these unsolved cases of women who have children, the suggestion that they just decided to leave is baffling. The majority of mothers would never just randomly up and leave their children, especially if they’ve shown no signs of it before. It annoys me it’s always brought up.

Who gets that drunk when they know they have to collect their child! And I think she was just a confrontational person and people only speak really highly about her because now she’s missing… I also think drugs are involved in some way
Good thinking. I think because many of missing people are victims, we tend to only look at the positive and how smart and great of a person they are. It’s sad that her case is cold and no truth or justice has came about but maybe knowing more about her bad habits and character could be more of an eye opener.
@nataly.a8950 yeah when people hear you say something about someone being irresponsible they say your victim blaming, but that's not the case it's a clue maybe.
yeah but keep in mind this whole story is one sided. so you can have your assumptions but make sure to remember you’re going off the words of her ex bf’s and random strangers. also remember that eye witness reports are not always accurate
No disrespect, its sad she went missing, but she didn't seem to make the best choices in men. Both relationships were toxic, she had an affair with a married man. Stripping on the weekends puts her in potential danger, all kinds of seedy people go there. It's not safe. No matter how much you think you know someone, everyone has secrets
I think this involved drugs, she was selling drugs, got ripped off and owed someone money, and cartel was involved. This could be the reason her case hasn't moved forward or had more attention on it, they could have no leads because the people involved are long gone in Mexico at this point.
I’m living in Australia, I thought mesquite Texas would be put in the middle of nowhere. So I appreciate the info ,thanks Josh Anyways another amazing one ❤ Thank you You guys are always professional and sensitive while discussing these sad cases❤
Ryan probably never has spoken or reached out to her parents due to lawyers telling him to not open himself up to finger pointing. They can’t use his sincerity against him if he says nothing.
I’ve noticed that Mile Higher does a lot more unsolved cases that have very little info and a lot of speculation around them. They also do a lot of older cases as well. Kendall does a lot more solved cases but she does do unsolved as well. Mile Higher does have a request forum though so maybe they just go through and pick a different case each week I’m not sure.

You're absolutely right. However, I've spoken to people who weren't her biggest fan and those who knew her in different situations. This simply was not a "version" of Prisma or a way she acted. This was different. Everything from her call logs, to her actions that day, etc. none of it was typical for her.
@@katykelley392to be honest you couldn't have that level of behavior for a sustained amount of time without ending up arrested/in jail. So this would have to be at least an escalation of her behavior.
Look forward to Thursday's now. Love the Mile Higher Team of Four (five with the cutest doggo). Thank you for bringing these missing persons cases to light or continued light. SO important!
I live in San Antonio, Texas, and when people moved from Mexico to my district, it is extremely common for them to be held behind one year. Many of my friends in my grade were a year or two older than me because of this. She must be very smart that is incredibly impressive that she graduated early, not easy.
I graduated high school a year early with a 1.5 gpa. (I was homeless and needed to work to survive) From SA. I’m a first generation immigrant. It was super easy. People think you have to be super smart you don’t you just have to do your core classes which is 5 per school year and you have 8 classes a day which means you can double up. And finish early.
Ryan has a solid alibi and clearly wanted nothing to do with her. To sit there and say it’s “suspicious” is just wrong. I get that you’re saying it’s just speculation, but you’re speculating that a man who clearly had nothing to do with this was involved in a women’s disappearance. Do you know what that can do to a person?
Exactly, I didn’t particularly agree with their take on Ryan & his “dating life”. The day Prisma vanished it was his first time getting up w her in 3 years, the fact that Ryan had a date w another woman later that same day is not “suspicious” imo as he & Prisma weren’t an item. Falsely accusing Ryan of having something to do w Prisma’s disappearance is exactly why Ryan has refrained from touching base w Prisma’s family as he doesn’t want to live under a cloud of suspicion. Not trying to judge but given Prisma’s high-risk lifestyle, anyone could’ve been involved in her disappearance
To me she just looks extremely anxious and not drunk or stumbling. Just kind of panicked, frustrated, nervous and anxious. I didnt see any stumbing just running and pacing, fidgeting...idk. Maybe if i seen longer clips of the CCTV
Love every video! I love tuning in for Mile Higher, Kendall Rae, The Sesh & Lights Out! These videos keep me having something to listen while busy, keep being the people you are!
This is one of the reasons why I will never work in DR or Criminal. Being a paralegal you see a lot of things. I can easily see if she got wrapped up in something.
Is it possible that the car dealership offered her a job with health benefits. It would make sense to accept a lower paying job with benefits for her and her son
This case is tricky because her behavior was completely unhinged before she went missing (even before she got drunk). Being a paralegal she would have known that brandishing her weapon AND driving while drunk would have gotten her into some legal trouble, maybe she realizes she can't be seen driving the car until she's sobered up had gone to the ex's place to smooth things over but also lay low. Once there she either accepted a ride from a stranger who harmed her OR maybe her behavior wasn't only due to her drinking but also a mental health issue that causes her to willingly leave.
She was probably fired form her paralegal job and needed something right away. Also maybe she hated her job and wanted something else even if it was a step down? My sister used to be a pharmacy tech but left for a job with way less pay because she couldn’t stay in such a toxic job
She has been in 4 confrontations just that day. The coworker, the ex, the bartender, and the girls in the car. She seemed on high alert all day. Or just a confrontational person.

ZERO respect for her pulling a fkn GUN during a road rage incident. Wtaf?! She’s the type who doesn’t need a damn firearm. No excuses.
But if she was just threatened and thought maybe they were the ones after her, it's a little understandable.... Not right but understandable.
Who gets that drunk when they know they have to collect their child! And I think she was just a confrontational person and people only speak really highly about her because now she’s missing… I also think drugs are involved in some way
Agree she sounds irresponsible
Good thinking. I think because many of missing people are victims, we tend to only look at the positive and how smart and great of a person they are. It’s sad that her case is cold and no truth or justice has came about but maybe knowing more about her bad habits and character could be more of an eye opener.
@nataly.a8950 yeah when people hear you say something about someone being irresponsible they say your victim blaming, but that's not the case it's a clue maybe.
I agree
yeah but keep in mind this whole story is one sided. so you can have your assumptions but make sure to remember you’re going off the words of her ex bf’s and random strangers. also remember that eye witness reports are not always accurate
Quitting that job sure makes me go to the idea that the secret guy was one of those lawyers.
or her job found out she was an exotic dancer, that is a big no no for any legal office
@camilavelasco8894 really? That's interesting. I wonder why if it doesn't infringe on the legal work hours.
Thank you for covering cases of women of color! 💗
Agree 💯
She may have been put into a car trunk, that's why she was never seen leaving.
yep. hopefully they looked into all the vehicles leaving out of the parking garage
Good speculation
No disrespect, its sad she went missing, but she didn't seem to make the best choices in men. Both relationships were toxic, she had an affair with a married man.
Stripping on the weekends puts her in potential danger, all kinds of seedy people go there. It's not safe. No matter how much you think you know someone, everyone has secrets
Great coverage! I hadn't heard about the case at all, so commenting to help boost the signal. :)
I think this involved drugs, she was selling drugs, got ripped off and owed someone money, and cartel was involved. This could be the reason her case hasn't moved forward or had more attention on it, they could have no leads because the people involved are long gone in Mexico at this point.
Or the people involved are suspects in, or informants/cooperating with other cases.
Or ppl involved know others in high places. It could all be connected as well.
he’s probably ashamed to talk to the family since he ended it badly with prisma in the past . That’s my first thought
I’m living in Australia, I thought mesquite Texas would be put in the middle of nowhere. So I appreciate the info ,thanks Josh
Anyways another amazing one ❤
Thank you
You guys are always professional and sensitive while discussing these sad cases❤
Ryan probably never has spoken or reached out to her parents due to lawyers telling him to not open himself up to finger pointing. They can’t use his sincerity against him if he says nothing.
I agree with josh, i also thought it was in the middle of nowhere in Texas
I’ve always wondered - how do you decide which cases are covered on mile higher vs TCWKR? 😊
I’m from the UK and “Josh logic” is excellent 😂
Thank you for uploading. Now I get to enjoy the next hour at work lol. ❤😅
We don't even have radio on low volume. I work at a mom and pop restaurant and part time is decorating and recustruction of homes . That's when I get to listen podcasts and music 🎶 which depends on my day but I prefer rock to get my inspiration bubbling and energy up 😅
did she not tell any of her friends who she was involved with? i’d keep my friends secret… until they went missing
I watch all your videos & the amazing job you all do to bring awareness to these cases. Unrelated question where is the beautiful lamp from behind you Kendall? Love to you all from Scotland 🏴
I want to know from acquaintances was this pattern of escalation normal for her? The co worker and the weapon brandishing is a lot
It was not, according to the friends and family I have interviewed
@@theredrummedia friends and family speak of their loved ones through rose-colored glasses, I specified acquaintances out of curiosity
Yeah I don’t think she was drugged or drunk. I think it was either a mental health episode or straight up fear of something.
I emailed the Dallas PD. Done and done!
That seemed uncharacteristic of her? Look at how many “confrontations” she had that day.
I would’ve thought MEsquite was a small town too. I’ve been to Dallas several times and had no idea it was a town nearby
I worked in DR for 3 years and literally nothing interesting happened and I never saw anything crazy. It’s not always glamorous!
the altercations and unusual behavior could be a sign of a manic episode perhaps
I lived in mesquite when this happened and I never understood the whole case. It wasn't talked to very much which sucked and made me so angry
I think Josh was maybe thinking mesquite Nevada. It’s a tiny town in the middle of the desert.
Why does the bartender cut her off but THEN let her drive away?
As someone from the UK I was definitely with Josh on this and thought it was gona be a small town.. so thanks for the clarification 👌🏻
Is it possible that the car dealership offered her a job with health benefits. It would make sense to accept a lower paying job with benefits for her and her son
I’m from Mesquite, TX. It’s not a small town. It’s a very big suburb of Dallas.
I agree! Perhaps even drugs?
I think she made a series of bad decisions that day and she become a victim of opportunity unfortunately.
I think about this case a lot (and even requested it), thank you for covering her story
Have to comment because I’m from Mesquite!! I would have never guessed my hometown would ever be on your podcast
She fought with a lot of people. 😮
She was probably fired form her paralegal job and needed something right away. Also maybe she hated her job and wanted something else even if it was a step down? My sister used to be a pharmacy tech but left for a job with way less pay because she couldn’t stay in such a toxic job
Josh both you and the crew are so easy to listen to! Great job always 💪
This is the only story where im not getting an "innocent vibe" about the victim. I dont think shes actually missing.
Janelle has been really quiet lately :( I hope she’s okay, I always found her commentary very insightful
lol tbh I probably would have thought it was a small town too I appreciate u Josh 😂
prisma is a beautiful name
Thanks Josh! You’re the best!
