    If we can have Amass and Collyer as back ups to Shaw and Ugarte, like Garnacho being back up to Rashford in his breakthrough season, that could be quite exciting. I think the amount of academy players Ten Hag has a track record of bringing through is a big reason why he kept his job. Not many give that much faith to youngsters

    Harry Amass
    He played well 6/10 performance. Depending on what the manager wants, I think he should risk more & be brave to really cement his name as a backup to Luke.
    Toby Collyer
    There's alot of potential in this guy, very combative in his play looks really hungry to play for United. 🤔He still looks raw but the shear drive, attitude & will in him could see him being a 1st team red this coming season.
    Rasmus
    He can create something out of nothing. With the right service, feeding him from different angles he can be a 20 goal striker in the Premier league this season for sure. The injury is sad hopefully it's not as bad as we think.
    Sancho
    United are probably finding it hard to offload him for the right terms. Over the number of games played in preseason he doesn't look like a Man United player.
    Antony
    Before coming to United he was heralded for his defensive work, pressing & defending from the front @ Ajax. He was never a 20 G/A player even before he came. But what's polarising about Antony, Ten Hag gave him a lifeline last season & tried him @ Left Back. If he was wise he should've taken that opportunity & followed in the footsteps of the likes of Valencia converting from wing to Right back. Because going forward @ this level he offers very little.
    Amad
    He's ready, he's pissed on the right wing position & marked his territory. Him & Garnacho rotating there will give the manager 2 good alternatives.
    Casemiro
    While a replacement for him should be bought because of his age. He's still got something to give United. HE IS QUALITY, experienced, resilient & a leader. Teams defend as a unit & leaving him isolated infront of the defence. With acres & acres of space in midfield to essentially mop up alone tactically is not wise. Replace Rodri with Casemiro @ United & he'll all of a sudden look a shadow of himself.
    Leny Yoro
    Kids talented hopefully a 2nd CB signing like De Ligt is made or someone else to take the pressure & scrutiny he'll receive when making a mistake. Because he's young👶& he will make a mistake. Anyway more cover is needed @ the back we can't be relying heavily on guys like Evans like we did last season.
    Maguire
    It's painful to watch @ times..🙈 what United are trying to do does not match what he has to offer. Feels like dejavu De Gea 2.0 . Should've taken the L & reduction in salary and moved on from United.
    Scot McTominay
    🤔Really misunderstood player. If an offer for 30 million & up comes then he should be sold and that money reinvested to buy a potential starter for United. But he's not a starter, the super sub box crashing role Ten hag deployed him last season fits him like a glove. A dangerous team needs different weapons in their arsenal to hurt the opponent. When used correctly he's a gem.
    Mason Mount
    Really exciting, looks fit, sharp & really energetic. Kobbie Mainoo can be rotated with him in that number 8 ball carrier role. While also providing cover for Bruno. Could be a really big season for Mason.
    Wan Bissaka
    🤔imagine him @ Arsenal with the back 4 transitioning into a back 3 as a rest defence. Do you think Ben White gets picked over him🤷🏽‍♂️. I think this guys a diamond covered in mud.

      That’s just part and parcel with Hoijlund mate sadly we even signed him injured so I guess injuries are just part of his game which is a shame but last season he did play most of the games with just a few out so the injuries he gets aren’t ever major which is good and now we’ve Zirkzee he can miss a few games if he’s injured now we’ve a backup but in defence we need more options because with Yoro injured we now have to rely on previous players like Maguire and Evans which we can’t allow us to go into the season with them as backups we need to get De Ligt asap and maybe even try get Branthwaite aswell so we’re not left short.

    On Point 4. What a lot of people dont get is if you can develop Collyer as a squad player for us for the next 2-3 years, then sell him at £30-40m to a mid table prem club, after a young english player with potential and its pure profit on PSR. We should be using our academy to develop player sales, as well as the first time of course.

    ‘Amass looked poor’🤔 did that commenter watch the game? He played a blinder I thought in what was such a high intense first half.
    Played Jesus offside for their goal. With VAR that’s good defending. DONT BE FOOLED.
    He was really good on the ball, few times he took it under pressure and broke the press. DID NO ONE SEE THIS??
    Agree with Howson (which I don’t always do) here.
    I’m not sold on Collyer though…heavy touches, some misplaced easy passes. Still a bit too green atm for me. Loan would be good this season

    • @Boylo2492
      @Boylo2492 2 месяца назад +4

      Spot on regarding Amass. I think with Collyer you can keep him around. Pick up some Europa league, carabao cup and the odd sub appearance in the league for MUFC. Might be more suited to that than a loan out to a championship side.

    • @williamredpath861
      @williamredpath861 2 месяца назад

      Amass looked poor in my opinion. He was too easily beaten, positionally poor, made harder work for himself. Sure he had a few nice touches and yes, the Arsenal first goal was offside but lets face it, full backs should have excellent positioning, which he didn't have, and was beaten a few times. Not impressed with Amass.

    • @Boylo2492
      @Boylo2492 2 месяца назад +3

      @williamredpath861 At 17 you are still developing a lot of aspects of your game. Amass for his age has exceptional physical and technical aspects. He was far weak or easily removed from the ball. He looked strong. A lot of easy comparisons to a young Luke Shaw imo.

      One thing I noticed when I watched their weight workout video, was how bad their technique was on the machines, especially the leg press. The foot placement was wrong and despite coaches standing nearby, no one corrected their form. The knees were always over the toes and they were fully extending on the push which can lead to injuries. I have a feeling the gym workouts may have a part to play in the injuries they have. The coaching there is terrible.

      Bissaka going wont be enough to purchase all three of those targets, for it to be a balanced window, we may have to raise at leat 80-100 mil in sales. Sancho, maguire, lindelof and mctominay are the most obvious choices in terms of getting decent money back.

    To risk further injury in a pre season friendly rather than let him heal 100%, the decision make skills of a few individuals needs to be called into question.

    United definitely need another CB to start beside Martinez. Maybe De Ligt or whoever they think is good enoguh to be a starter.
    Not keen on Maguire or Evans(if he was a few years younger, yes) starting too many games.
    Yoro looks exciting but he should only be our 3rd or 4th choice CB. Let him play some league games but maybe more of FA/League cup games.
    And please get that DM. Collyer can be the rotation option. I like Casemiro but I hope a Saudi club does come in for him. Looks like it might be wishful thinking now.
    1 more CB.. Maybe one that can play CB or LB. A full back and a DM. That'd be a pretty great window.

Maguire never scans however and wouldn't know if Amass was on fire. Amass to blame as well but Maguire has to look at himself there. In end the first ball was offside anyway.

    5 things we have learnt
    1. ETH does have a style of play, it’s just shit and boring.
    2. ETH can’t bring the best out of players and will rely on ‘new player bounce’ to keep him in a job.
    3. The club is cursed when it comes to injuries.
    4. ETH still doesn’t have a plan B and would rather lose then try to develop one.
    5. We will all be supporting RVN by Christmas.
    6. (Bonus) Malacia isn’t real, we sol just imagined a new left back 16 months ago and we are suffering from the Mandela effect 😂

Although the summer transfer windows is still open, i don't have confidence we will assemble a strong enough squad to finish inside the top 4, especially with the Europa league. We wish a speed recovery to our injured players. United needs to thoroughly assess its medical staff in my opinion.
