lmao, I love your intro snow clip saying "do not replicate". That looks like all the trails here in Edmonton, Canada right now and is part of my daily commute after a fresh snow.
Nice video production as always Adam . Looks like the Master is a kit wheel that needs many upgrades to be a finished product. Hope you are enjoying Canada
5:45 really like your discussion on the pedals. most people would just look at the Nylo's and expect them to be better. You really consider the utility of both, which is helpful
And so this is what the Begode Master can do, provided with a skilled rider like yourself. I’m buying those accessories now. Terrific,Excellent video and thank you Adam!
That is one sick decked-out master. Looks like the master is turning into another gem for the modding community like the sherman is. Im loving mine with the full clarkpad system? The seat comfort and protection are A+.
Having both S22 and Master, the progressive suspension is great on my S22 is great for off-road and bigger stuff. With S22 rollers and 350lbs spring I easily reach its max speed on road. With my Master being more dedicated to on road the more linear suspension is better since I don't have any potholes deeper than a curb-drop. With 250psi in the stock-shock-Master I've done 11" drops without bottoming and I need about 5 clicks from max rebound to not top-out (clunk up).
Did some research before installing this upgrade in August. So just to share my insights to get some common misconceptions out of the way about the master suspension and the upgrade. The upgrade increase the use of the damper(25mm stock to about 55mm) making it a lot more progressive, not lineair, same suspension travel. So not directly related to bottom out. Riding a lower psi is important for it not to feel bouncy. Actually adding volume reducers to the airchamber will avoid bottom out. Rockshox calls them bottomles tokens. By reducing the airvolume, when compressing the damper ramps up stiffness significantly to the end of the damper range, resulting in no bottom outs. If you set it up correctly, i am almost certain you can do any thing you can as you do with the s22. MTB rear suspensions don’t have necessarily more travel and they to crazy stuff with it.
Hey Tim, I am trying to modify my master. I bought the Kuba suspension plates from torque pads now I am trying to figure out the shock. Not sure to go with the rock shock like you did or the fox DPS evolve. What do you think and how do I go about if I go with the rock shock to have it built with the bottomless tokens anyway, I could talk to you for a minute over the phone
Awesome overview of the upgrades - for the tire I’d recommend trimming the two left and right knobs down 2-3ish mm so the tire becomes more “rounded”. It seriously transforms the tire and it feels on par with the Shinko’s.
Looks like a good wheel once it’s tuned up. How much modification does the Sherman S need to make it great? It looks pretty nice out of the box. Maybe some weather sealant.
it is "Kuba" suspension, sold bu Torquepads and it is soo sweet! :) I have Rockshox Monarch RT3 with 6 volume spacers, I think I gotta go full 9 spacers for next summer but then it can take big drops! Thank you for the video!
Seeing that sherman s in this video makes me think nice soon his sherman s review will come out :) i was going to get the master but after im done with all the Upgrades it cost more than the sherman s
While the different suspension arms look nice, for that little bit of improvement would probably cost 500+ bucks for the full upgrade. The stock suspension with full grizzla setup does all I need.
I was ready to buy it but I dont want to cut the metal mudguard on my master. I like doing modifications but not permanent stuff that I cant go back to full stock. Im going to try one of the cheap-o DNM shocks and put a heavy spring on it to see what happens. You can fit those in there without any changes. I had one opportunity to get the cut linkage arms that someone made while I was in California but the dude forgot to bring them. Might have been my only chance 😭😭😭
@@CrunchyTire i heard that the 1500lb spring oil shock that most of us would need with the stock linkages does not fit width wise. I can't see spending another 600 bucks for the upgrade right now.
Great info as always, what do you think about the Máster V4 metal battery cases, 50s batteries, new upgraded suspensión ( not off road yet, but great for streets) better kick stand. Seems that every issue is been finaly heared and fixed from begode! You steel need to protect the front and tail lite, but for the price seems great deal! Can you make some comentarles? Thanks
A much cheaper way to upgrade the suspension is to change the air shock to a coil like DNM dv22ar. The stock spring won't fit tho so you need to buy separate 95mm.
This is like an iPhone moment. Or transition for horse/buggy to car. Now we're going car -> Personal EVs. Lots of good investments to be made right now, I bet.
Amazing tuning Adam! How did you buy nylonove pedals? I want them for my V12, but I had to buy Inmotion honeycomb pedals (and I saved 160 USD :D) because it is sold out all tthe time. Anyway the price of all these mods and suddenly Sherman S is cheaper and better wheel :).
I tried to order a set of bumpers and they tried to charge more for the shipping than what the bumpers cost??? Any resellers in the states or how did you get yours? Thanks bro
You dont have to add stuff but you should. Its not just an ok wheel though it will blow your pants off 😁 If you ride a master right now you are the fastest one there. Someone riding a master up a steep dirt hill called it "cheating" because it just destroys terrain that other wheels are struggling on. Make sure to wave at all the S22s you fly past as they struggle to climb. But you already made up your mind so its all good. ignorance is bliss as they say
Seems risky that the pads are so wide. If you have to bail your legs are so locked in place. With thinner pads at least you can bail more easily. Cool wheel. To bad the police can take my wheel as they want so I can't invest too much in them...

3 things Mr pretty is forgetting to mention: 1.nylonove is a joke and EVERYTHING is out of stock ALL THE TIME. 2. These 3d printed pieces plus pedals will cost you a fu@#$ing fortune. It's BS. It should NOT cost more than a month's worth of food. He's sponsored so he doesn't give a s@$t. My take: get grizzlas if you have to. Forget the stupid pedal setup. For the lights, skip the overpriced lights and get lezynes. Thank me later. My Sherman V12 and 18xl are kitted out way better than this at 1/3rd the $$$
The grizzla set up is great and nitecore offers every kind of light or beacon you could want with quality and a great price. Screw all that hundreds of dollars in shreadlight crap.
These "bite system pads" will bite your ass soon, this is just bad, dangerous design, only for styling and show off, not for practicality. I can just imagine when passing some pedestrian and he will change his mind and step aside a bit, and how these pads will hurt someone, but the most probable is that the owner will be bitten when fall off. You talked so much about security of the EUC ride, but you just advertise so bad ideas to your followers.

Now we need a fully upgraded S22 video! 😁🤷♂️
Hahaha soon!

Veteran Abrams too!!!!!!!
Another great video 😀👍 Keep it up
Alien rides was great to me for my first week of a talk to me so much. Not a paid plug just a happy customer
My favourite part is when you talk about the EUC and ride it!
I like your demo side by side with the Sherman s and Master. The Sherman-S looks much more Cadillac smooth
It looks dope, can't wait to mod my MasPro like this!
It really makes the Master do stuff that I wanted in the first place haha congrats on your MasPro!

Only about 100 miles on mine before the weather turned. It's definitely a beast that will take a few hundred miles to tame.

The Master is almost good now. Were there any kind of protection of the battery compartments though?
Will you be racing at Apple Valley Speedway for the championship?
That lean! Superman!
Sweet setup, I know people with a Master that will appreciate it. BTW, how are the screws holding up now on the Sherman S?

Yes. All those updates must not be cheap. Plus all the time you need to put on it..!
6:55 looked funny 😂
I'm officially sold on the master now
Nice setup! It looks like you had Kai pads on your Master earlier (7-minute mark in your video). How did you like them?
Those are Dinoeatsdelivery’s pads and master. I don’t like those pads too much
Bravo
I’m probably going to buy a mten4, any thoughts or hesitation, I’ve always been leary about begode’s quality, based off other reviews of course
mcm5v2 used would probably do everything it does but better, and cheaper. Other than soft surfaces; it'll bomb there.
Would be great if you added the price for the mods as well
Can you make a video on starter wheels?
how are you're bearings holding up in the snow?

where did your Master Pro video go???
it kinda sucks that you need to buy a wheel and then basically DIY it all including the suspension, but so tempting...
What happened at 2:29? It beeps and cuts out for no apparent reason?
