I would be very worried about threatening a deputy.
Once you do that, and it's on record, if they see you on the street they have a lower standard of restraint. "The suspect threatened my person in jail. He attempted to make good on the threat. I stopped the threat".
I mean that cop with the glasses was antagonizing him “Hit it again, Hit it again, you’re not gonna like it when we come in there” and laughed about it, so I guess the drunk guy was kinda right about him treating him “like a POS convict” 😂

The prisoner felt the weakness of the bespectacled cop.

It's pretty obvious Deputy Derek Shaw is in the wrong business and needs to get on with his life's work. It is apparent he has no patience and should leave...for good. He is agrivating the prisoner.

Working in a primary school with under 12yo, l can see this behaviour of "fight fight fight lm the big man" already. Ok, they should have either fast tracked him through or remove the person making him so violent, at least until they got him through booking. Telling the same man that is making the detainee violent to watch him...yeah, way to go justice system! Yeah, he may have started with another officer, but they could have at least tried.

The blonde officer should have been removed from the situation once it was seen that he was the target of aggression. He certainly shouldn't have been involved in the take down. The facility I work in that's our policy. If there's an officer who presence can escalate a situation they do not participate. At the end of the day it's about everyone going home safe.

Has anyone given the thought about if the electrical grid goes down how will it affect the jail population? Let's say an EMP event that cripples 1/3 of the Nation. Will they escape? Just a simple question.
I think jails and prisons have a backup power generator so they can have electricity.
It's not 5 nights at freddys. Just cuz the power goes out, doesn't mean the door unlock/open.
if it's jail, they usually use keys(sometime specialty, sometimes bulky) to unlock most every door. If they are a bigger jail(more money) or a full prison, then they'll use electronic locks. But the locks only use electricity in the seconds where the door is being locked/unlocked.
So, if anything, if a Jail loses power, more than likely the prisoners will either have no change(other than light/heat), or they will simply be stuck behind a door that needs electricity to move it's deadbolt. Most likely from systematic backup generators.
Tl;Dr
It will have next to no issues with the jail/prison systems, at least regarding the inmates/prisoners that are already inside said prisons. (Those in the middle of being processed,...may be an issue. but as for those incarcerated, no escapees)
"Burglary of a vehicle" is NOT the same thing as Grand Theft Auto. Burglary of a vehicle means "breaking into another person's vehicle with the intent to steal items from said vehicle". Grand Theft Auto means "stealing the car itself".

They haven't been convicted, a very big chunk of those people are innocent. They should be treated according to their behaviour only
