I see this video was shot in November 2012.I don't know when was the last time you visited Dubai, but i visited Dubai in October of 2015 and there are now 2 additional Observation Decks that has opened, The Falcon's view on the 125th Floor and the At the Top Sky Observation Deck on the 148th floor and if you get a chance to visit this iconic skyscraper again,my suggestion is to purchase the "At The Top Sky " Observation Deck package where you get to visit all 3 Observation decks(148,125,&124) for the price of one,it makes more economical sense.

That's so fucking high up that I feel scared shitless sitting here in my bed on the 6th floor of my building...I can feel all the other floors below me and it's unnerving...
The drop-rate of that elevator is phenomenal! Trying to work out how many metres per second you were descending - gravity itself is 9.81 metres per second but it wasn't quite that fast! THANK YOU for posting this excellent video :o)

We are so lucky that we get there for free, we had our field trip and we had so much fun, the view was amazing and the lift was so fast to reached the 125 floor. once in a lifetime experience. Odi Sennin they can get them out like any other elevator. Modern elevators like these are absurdly safe assuming and if something happens, it may come to a rough stop, and at worst, fall a few feet. Then they can reacue you through the shaft.

How do you get up to the very top floors? You were only at 120.
+David Maize 123 floor. There is observation deck. To go higher you need to take different elevator. But this is not open for public.
