TY Norman, a true talent with a great song, for those of us that grew up Do Wop, and always makes me realize how much I love my Jeanne, yesterday, today, and tomorrow !
esto es musica , mi alma se regocija al escuchar estos estilos daria lo que fuese por vivir esa epoca, gracias por darme la oportunidad de escuchar esta musica , mis respetos
Norman Fox and Rob Roys were among the best Doo Wop groups of the time. Tell Me Why and Dream Girl were their only big hits, along with Pizza Man. History notes there were constant issues with their labels, that messed up what should have been many, many more hits. There is a CD "compilation" of some of their tracks, but unfortunately, these are mostly rehearsals and out-takes.
There is no way they could capture that old moment better. I can't find a flaw and I can pick out a note that shouldn't be in place. Amazing happy music.
Norman sounds. Terrible now I don't like most white singers from back then except for Paul Himmelstein, & Walt Taylor, & Philip Corey who don't sound white also Vito from Salutations was goid today there are good white singers who sound black Amy Winehouse, Post Malone ,Charlie Puth,Joss stone, Jessie J Zhavia Ariane Grande Madison Beard ,

I'm the drummer in this video. Great memories from the 90's. Norman and the group were a pleasure to work with.
At almost 80 years old my eyesight might be going lol but it sure looks like Johnny Gale playing the shit out of that Fender Bass. Thanks for posting
This music is older than the oldies stations play! This is what I love. Doo wop. The Drifters. The Supremes. Elvis. Oldies!
These groups kept this music going strong till this day, how amazing !!!
Love the little dance that Norm and Jay do together.

Rob Roys were the first with this song, then Dion and the Belmonts covered it. Rob Roys rendition was so much better.
doowoptm Dion and the Belmonts never covered this., The Belmonts covered it with Carlo Mastrangelo on lead. Dion had already split with the group
Their other big hit was "pizza pie" ( rather than "pizza man")
The Belmonts did this too. This is better
