I have both. I think the OXP2 feels way better in my hands and is more comfortable to hold. Also, games run "faster" on it by 3-5 fps. I really wish it had at least a 120hz screen and I probably would have never bought the Legion Go. I think my OXP2 is a better device but the 60hz screen is definitely why I won't be keeping it. For the Price, the Legion Go is the winner. The OXP2 might have better specs but it's not $400-500 better
Hmm i would choose 32GB RAM (about +10% performance) any time over 144hz. 144hz hz combined with Legions smaler battery is pretty bad. 120hz with VRR would be the way to go.
Without watching a second of this video I can say that the Legion go has a better placed righ analogue stick and is less expensive. That's a win win for me...
My kids have the OneXplayer 2 and I'm still on an older OneX Mini. I endded up grabbing the OneXplayer pro 32 gb/2 TB in addition to their new EGPU. I used to be all GPD but every one of my GPDs have died. I'm really happy with the quality and support from One X.
Just wondering how your GPD died... I have both the older GPD Win MAX (first edition) and the One X Player (first edition). So far, GPD, even with its i5 chip, is alot stabler than the 1X with its i7 chip. However, I did notice that the GPD's battery dies faster and already replaced mine twice. I'm about to change mine now and would like to know your feedback as a fellow player who has both brands before I buy (or should I wait for the 2024 iteration? oh well...).
@saturn2fire yah every single GPD I had was the battery dying. I really loved my GPD Win Max but it was about 200 USD and shipping for the battery or even more with customs to get it fixed. I almost ordered the replacement but received my SteamDeck after the long Pre-order. I had the GPD 1, 2 (my son broke it playing endless Roblox on it, motherboard got fried and battery died, GPD Win Max and I had the first GPD with the sliding keyboard also die on me).
@@BWT599 I'm not sure how you fried the motherboard, but yeah, it seems battery issues are consistent. I had both OneXplayer and GPD's batteries replaced because I was connecting them to eGPU and it kept charging the battery even when full (there is no system yet in place for the first generation to disable charging once batteries are full). I find GPDs battery easily broken with this use case. Would still love to buy the GPD with the sliding keyboard as it is ALOT easier to carry it and "hide" it in the office while doing other work in parallel but I guess I have to go first with the latest OneXPlayer (probably 2 pro with the detachable gamepad so I can "hide" it as an ordinary tablet). Thanks so much for the insight.
@saturn2fire ah right on. Yep I like the GPD with the sliding keyboard a lot for your reasons and that it slides into the pocket as well as looks like an old psp. I know guys who have that GPD and use a Rokid or Xreal, and they have a full-on computer ready to go that is pocket sized. Yea that pass through battery charging is definitely an issue as you have to let your battery drop a bit while gaming on a TV before plugging in the power. Something I often forget as my HDMI Ugreen hub also has 100 watt USB C charging. I believe the ROG Ally has charging pass through. If you do get the OneXplayer 2 Pro, there is an excellent case for the device, controller connector, keyboard, USB c cable and wall outlet. I grabbed two for my kids but then got one for myself as it looks like a laptop case for work. I've brought it to bank meetings without my controllers connected and most people thought I had a small surface device. The OneXplayer X1 definitely could pass for a work computer.
Legion Go seem like the better option. At least with the legion, you won’t need a dongle to get the controller to connect wirelessly as is the case with oxp2. Legion go just works when it comes to detachable controllers (especially with the mouse mode) and the hardware is solid despite it being BIG. One player 2 is good but in my opinion, I’d rather get the legion go. Legion is also less expensive than oxp2

I don't mind it, when it first came out it was the only PC handheld that was the closest to a switch experience. Makes for a lighter overall system when connected back to the main screen. My kids have the middle controller connector.

Yes, it will.
From 3rd party manufacturers as well.
It has one on the Lenovo Store
Jsaux probably makes the best dock for it with the USBC 4.0 port, display port 1.4 and Power delivery 3.0/4.0
