Seeing George Baldi with Rockapella is always a treat
I've been in LOVE with Scott Leonard since I was 9 yrs old (42 now)! His voice STILL melts me like no other! DO IT ROCKAPELLA!!💙
I met them at a local show a few years back and gushed to Scott that I had the hugest crush on him on Carmen Sandiego... and that I was so disappointed I was too young to be on the show. Turns out hearing that from someone in their mid-30s is a good way to make your childhood aca-crush feel old. 😂
I don't know if Scott or any of the guys will see this but in the 90s Scott, Barry, Sean, Greg and Lynne went out of their way to make an awkward 13-year-old boy with horrible timing that decided he was terrified to be on television feel not so scared about being on a game show. It would have been easier to simply replace him with any of a number of other kids that were there, but you didn't, and he still looks back on being a contestant and getting to run on the big map as one of the coolest things he's ever done over two decades later. On the off-chance Scott sees this, I just finally wanted to say thank you even if it is 20+ years late. I'll never forget the kindness you guys showed me. You guys were (and still are) the best!

That's so cool. I always dreamed about being on that show and you got to do it, and got to talk to THE guys while there. Thank you for sharing that experience!

I enjoy acapella music so I listen to a lot of different groups. None of them come close to the talent of these guys. Even though they've switched singers over the years, they always seem to find the most amazing singers. Keep em coming guys.

Amazing! Arrangements just as fresh and smooth as they were 30 years ago. All of these new groups like Pentatonix, VoicePlay, etc. owe their success to the true pioneers of this craft. Just this week I introduced by 4-yr-olds to Rockapella, and everyday on the way to preschool they want to hear the Folgers songs. Makes me a proud a capella bass dad.

When I was younger, a very long time ago, I associated a cappella with church music and barbershop. Then Carmen Sandiego came out and I discovered you guys. From time to time you would pop up in different places that I was looking at on the Internet prior to RUclips.

I can't help but wonder what the colored version of this looks like but love the choice to keep it all in black and white as it has a calming effect on me. It'd be cool if you at a later date released the colored version but also cool if you do not for whatever reason(s). Either way, it's the best cover I've heard of them personally. It was a fantastic choice to do it in black and white, it's great to see you guys in monochrome again. I haven't seen you in it since the 90's music videos.
