Whew, what a wild ride was! There was so much going on - kudos to Tyler for handling it all. And Kudos to the players for giving us such interesting characters.
This entire series really felt like a good Aliens movie. So many great movie like scenes dotted about, along with everyone delivering great performances. Tyler, you ran this so well. A real pleasure. Thank you all
I really enjoyed watching this show and I hope to see you play another scenario or even a campaign in the alien universe sometimes in the future. Also, I was wondering if the character name in katakana in the top right of each camera view was there for esthetic purpose only or if it was also a reference to something in the alien universe I might not be aware of?
In the Alien universe, Weyland Yutani Corp is a British/Japanese organization. I thought it would be fun in the graphics to include some Japanese. Those are the Players names (or a close approximation)
Loved this playthrough but it was a tad too much with not only having an abomination, mutated humans with aliens bursting from them but also The Xenomorph. It would have been enough with one type of those adversaries.
Not going to lie but that whole encounter with the abomination reeks of plot armour. Why didn't it just rip everyone apart rather than just throwing people around.
@@IntotheDarkness don't get me wrong the episode was still enjoyable and the whole adventure was fun to watch, it just felt jarring to watch the encounter. Xenomorphs in the Aliens universe will instinctively go for a kill the only time they collect and harvest their victims is to use them for breeding with face hugger eggs. To me it just felt out of place that the abomination would seemingly attempt multiple non- lethal attacks over a brutal kill.
Really awesome game. Well played and well GMed. Hats off to all.
This was excellent. Well-done to the cast and GM. And the shrubbery.

Sweet series. Good job all around folks. There's a lot of mind-blowing stuff here. What an episode. Got my first game as a player on the 25th.
Wow. What a dramatic ending! Is this scenario survivable?? Very nice job, once again, all of you. Thanks for this great series!
It absolutely is survivable!
Good playthrough :)

You guys played fantastic, but my lord do the Prometheus/Covenant additions make things difficult.

It is a lot; I think bc its an intro scenario the writers wanted to throw a bunch at the players.

I can't really answer for the GM, but in Role-play, Torturing people is far better than killing them.

What's the fun in that?
I found it pretty exciting myself. Insta-kill is expected so straying from the norm is cool.
Agree on torturing players...and I was following the dice rolls. I kept rolling that maneuver for the abomination.
