Remember when people just talked to each other in person. I do. Social media & dating apps are destroying personal interaction.

I met my bf on pof, during the pandemic in June 2020 and we are still together to this day. He’s the best person I’ve ever met so I think ppl shouldn’t hate on dating apps.
Well there's introverted people like me who don't go to social events and can't realistically meet people outside of work... So I need dating apps to meet new people. And before anyone says it, I have hobbies lmao. People will always say "have hobbies and meet women than". Most of my hobbies are male-centric so I cannot meet women this way either. So it's dating apps for me.

Yes it does! I met my husband in POF in 2018. I'm not the type to go out to bars or parties when I was single because I'm too shy. Online dating helps me talk to people and be comfortable before meeting them in person. I am very happy that I have responsible and a loving husband😁

I found out a lot of people met their spouses on AOL dating, POF and even Craigslist. Dating online used to be pretty good. It has changed so much😢
Dating apps have so much potential but unfortunately players and manipulative people utilize them to their advantage like they do anything in this world given enough time. I know several friends who have met their husbands through online dating by being clear about what they want and using filters and safety precautions.

@@r3games1985I got plenty of dates by telling the truth. There are so many scams. I met guys who were surprised to meet a real person😂
It all boils down to the character of the person.
It really comes down to meeting enough people. The more people you get to communicate with and get to know, the more likely you are to find the most compatible. We made it easy, we don't use cookies, and communication is free. If you waste your money on 'dating', it will always fail.
Editors did a great job with the old clips, the goofy 80's guys working on the computers were funny.
I 'm so happy to stay alone. But I know I ' m a minority one.
I feel so lucky that I found my man before tinder. I couldn’t handle the additive quality of it or the amount of people on it. Match was very straightforward and worked well for relationships not for casual hook ups.
The way there’s so much “dating apps have ruined dating because we just see people as things to swipe” as if real life interactions in dating don’t also begin with whether you find someone attractive or not

The swamp thing is false. Most men on dating apps aren't bad men. It's just that women have extremely high standards. Even average to below average women who don't bring much themselves expect prince charming

its not the right place to find a christian spouse who is commited to Jesus and who will be commited to you in marriage, usually just a bunch of ppl wanting to hook up and do short term relationships.
There are Christian only dating websites out there.
Whats really nasty is the CBC. Im only here because i couldn't believe they bothered posting videos. Ive noticed most videos have comments turned off... Cant blame them. Must be hard knowing your hated as a news organization.
