The amount of time editing required for this 11:16 video with 2 camera angles in sync... Mind blown!! The throwing is phenomenal as well! Thanks for sharing all your work!
Omg you're wearing the first camera! At first, I thought 'man having to sit back out of the way of the overhead camera would be tough.' then you moved! All your videos are great, but simply and quietly getting to watch your pieces appear is stellar.
i’ve watched a million throwing videos this year and this is my favorite. the pov camera angle is incredible and the silence really works for this type of content. now I wish more people would just not talk lol
I miss the chit chat and riding your bike on the way to the studio. Us Aussies don't get 4 distinct seasons so I miss watching your surroundings change as you told us what was going on.
The double camera view was awesome! Thank you for that. It was also cool to see what shape you were going to before you started the formation. Always great to watch You work!
I agree with previous comments, i do love the camera angles!! Gives us a different point of view of how you do things and helps with the visual understanding of the throwing process!!
Thank you for this. Variety of bowls, so helpful. Commentary -The wheel is loud, did you have the microphone right on it? I want to get a Skutt, are they all that loud?
your skills are improving so much from when i started watching you a few years ago, dang....but why aren't you talking at all, thats kinda what made you popular on YT?
Jon, when you are starting with the bat, are you making the base size right then? And how thick are the bottoms, as I am a beginner and trim about half the clay off! My bowls at 1# come out short, 3 or 4" wide with 1/4" thick walls. I keep my bottoms a little under 1/2 inch since I am worried about puncturing it when trimming. Oh, how thick are your walls with these? Sorry, am a noob here.
Hi, when you open the clay, do you make the base curved or flat? And when you have centred, before opening it, is it the right diameter for the finished foot size? 😊
I notice you have the wheel going very fast for centering & coning. Does that help? Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong & why I'm still struggling with that step - I've been using a medium speed for that. 😑
Hey, this is Ryan. I always like to work. I'm worried. Can you make me sometime like her good clean Faye not going base? Oh yeah, I'm the say green. Clay pot planta at the.I always like Joe Walker so I can make green planter for me to make me a plantar, please. All or make it for demonstration question mark I always like your to question mark❤
Double camera is the bomb. Finally somebody figured this out. Thank you Jon…thank you
Showing us how you make these from two different angles is very well received. I could sit and watch you throw pottery all day.
I like the soud of silence in this video... real satesfaction watching you work...

I teach HS Ceramics and I love showing your videos after my demonstration. Your video helps to reinforce what I want them to learn. Great Job!

So impressed with how fast your wheel is going and how quickly & cleanly you throw! Goals! 😁 Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!

I love the way your cameras had been set up. It helped a lot to find my mistake. Thank you.

I think I like the commentary more than the silence, = )
Excellent video! I like the double camera angles.
Great to see birds eye view!! 👍👍👍
not an unnecessary comment to raise the rating of the channel
Thanks-I appreciate seeing lots of bowl possibilities.
Fantastic video, exactly what I needed! 🙏
Just throwing bowls this week and badly needed some tips ! 🙏
Great practice Jon!
Beautiful shapes can't wait to see the finished product

Thanks for sharing I always enjoy your throwing videos God Bless
Awesome work ! Congrats.

1st is my favorite.
I have always wonder how potters get bowls to be exactly the same angles and sizes, hoping for tip on that
Bottom right bowl is the true bowl of bowls.
Great video!
Love watching you work. Does your wheel have a name? 😊
Ez nagyon jó videó lett. Tetszik.
Clay green clan green and yellow green blue clay
excellent double camera work thank you so much! What is that bat you are throwing on? Is it Hardiebacker board?
Thank you for this. Variety of bowls, so helpful. Commentary -The wheel is loud, did you have the microphone right on it? I want to get a Skutt, are they all that loud?
What type of clay is this? I sometimes struggle using porcelain with it collapsing on itself.
Have you done a chip n dip bowl video?
You could be in the pottery Olympics.

John the Potter when you wedge the clays it is because the clay has to be soft enough to use on the wheel?? 🙂🙂👍👍☺☺
Superb ❤

How many ounces of clay are you using? Love your videos!
I have a question. My pieces keep warping and blister. They don't do it when I bisque fire, but they do it when I glaze fire. What can I do?
What kind of clay do you use?
What are those square things your throwing on called? I bought a few bats but the screws point up and I can’t throw without busting my hand against it
❤😊
Love the dual camera, man is your wheel noisy, it doesn't drown out the video but doesn't it bother you? I think it would drive be crazy.
What are you using as a bat?
A onde eu
Posso comprar dessa argila aqui no Brasil
Bowling
What material are your bats made of?
Inquiring minds want to know!
Love the videos! Missing your voice though.

Yes! I've been teaching pottery for 18 years. The speed seems scary, but you need it to properly center. Be not afraid!
All that wedging on fresh clay?
Probably more of a habit
🤗👍👍👍👍🥰
