@@carsandallaboutcars2939 I had to go pick up a big wig for the dealer at the airport so they let me pick what I wanted to drive. Vanden Plas was in order 🤣
@@superchargedxjr I thought as much but this car came with some detailed history with no mention of a trans replacement. Are the ZF transmissions that bad? I know some models Audi's, Bmw's and Benz's have them. They appear fairly solid. It's also possible the prior owner maintained this trans fairly well. I plan on a drain & fill with Valvoline max import &. Lucas additive. Thanks for the info
Beautiful car, I always loved that model. Very classy! I never had the stones to buy one.
Thanks! You can get a great deal on one these days if you look carefully
I have the same car .
I been restoring it .
The car is Beautiful.
50k miles .
Come on brudda blue mats ??? Get a matching color !
🤣🤣🤣...So right....Will get some other ones. What color do you recommend?
They're actually grey...They just look blue in the video
Very much leg room in the back! I worked for a Jag dealer back in 05 and this is my favorite style!
I agree. The XJ8 L has the extra leg room with the longer rear door's. Wish I had a chauffeur 😅

@@DaveWrightKB9MNM The UK Prime Minister's Office used to only use these models as the official car.
It is highly unlikely to be with the original auto transmission. Even with Highway Miles doubt you would see 150k miles with the ZF5 speed autobox.
