- Our second day at Point Pelee had some pleasant surprizes including 2 lifers and some incredible photography.
We also ran into some "fans" of the Bird Nerds RUclips Channel, which totally caught us off guard!

Hey guys, really enjoying your videos by the way, just wanted to let you know that the bird shown at 6:07 is in fact a female Orchard Oriole and not a Scarlet Tanager. You can tell by the light wing bars, the two-toned slender curved beak and the tail feather arrangement.
We only have two species of sparrows in the U.K., house and tree. We also have dunlins which are often called hedge sparrows but they are in fact a totally different family. A really enjoyable video.
Love, love, love that male Scarlett Tanager! Love this channel, keep up the good work.
the bird you showed as a scarlet tanager female was a orchard oriole female. Great video.
Hay AstroBackyard guy! was looking for samples on the 400mm prime before i buy one and found you two. Cool! subscribed to two of your channels now, is there anymore? lol
great channel guys! Pelee is great, you should try Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area in Prince Edward County [ picton Area]. Just 3 less species than Pelee but concentrated in a much smaller area.
You guys should make more videos . Love the channel almost like Northrop but with out the cheese
Thanks, Matthew!
Nicely edited video, great job! Also nice cameo by Pete Read!!!!

Some great birding there. It's no wonder you were tired, carrying all that heavy Canon kit around ;-)
