I also did it - but I don't think I learnes the first time. I will try lower power settings with my Panasonic inverter grill microwave! Don't try again with non-inverter microwave!
I’m a trucker and love my boiled eggs because for me it’s one of the safest easiest meal on the road vs fast food. I forgot my egg cooker recently, and tried doing an egg in the microwave. I thought I was smart and even places a small hole on the egg to relief the pressure. KABOOM😱 it was all over the microwave wall. I guess I forgot to add salt, is what i found out later in your vid. So thanks for that❤
Our oven went kaboom last year and I was forced to become a Microwave Master Chef until our new oven was delivered (about a month it took). The microwave transitioned from our coffee reheating device into a full-service oven. It is possible to cook & bake anything in a microwave! It’s sad that most of us have / had no idea of how good microwave cooking is! Once you get the hang of it, there’s a good chance you will use it almost exclusively! We do. Unless it’s a meal we make with a slow-cooker.
@@tional5266 I did end up doing a LOT of research on the topic of microwaving food. The scientific evidence is perfectly clear: It is absolutely 1000% safe. It’s nothing more than radio waves exciting water molecules to create internal heating. Regular ovens and stoves do the same thing except they use convective heat to accomplish the same thing. Further, food that is in a sealed container (like canned food) can actually get exposed to high doses of radiation, and be perfectly fine immediately after radiation exposure. Microwaves don’t even come close to radioactive waves in terms of danger levels. So bottom line, microwaves are perfectly safe. :)
This is great for the barracks. I don't have a place to cook and most of the time I don't get to make it for chow in the morning. All I have in my room is a microwave.
For anyone wondering, the best easy peel egg method for boiled is to use a pin and poke a hole right on the fat round end of the egg, then boil, the ice bath is icing on the cake for peeling but the pin always works for me
I’ve been getting into cooking, and as I wake up before my mum (I get my breakfast as soon as I wake up) now I can make a hot meal for meh breakfast :D
“Always peeking through the window to see what’s going on , Something that we highly encourage you NOT to do in real life” 😂😂 you funny . Love your vid😄🙌🏻
Thank you. This was a very entertaining video. I had just made scrambled eggs in the microwave. Wanted something to go with my eggs this morning. Video was made well. :-)
Thanks for this! So helpful. Me n my kids are staying in a hotel for a month until my condo is ready all we have is a microwave n a small toaster oven to cook with. I know u can do them in the toaster over but I feel like that would make too much mess n my air fryer is way too large n probably draws too much power to use here in a hotel room lol. So this was great!!
LOL - i just learned how to steam broccoli in the M-wave today. I AM 60 !! turned out great. am scared when you say " egg tragedy " as i have always been afraid of things exploding in the microwave and an ' egg mess ' will shock me --- thanks for all the great egg tips here and have a great day...wherever you are - sir :))
Never knew any of this!! I like eggs but don't like doing them so never have them unless I eat out! Never knew they were so easy and doable in a microwave!! Looks like I'm buying eggs today for the first time in many years!! Thank you
Hmmmm, tried the boiled egg and mine exploded. Had to clead the microwave afterward. But there was a small ckooked chunk so it wasn't all bad in the end!
did you add salt to the water? you need to research this explosion thing someone got burns really badly. It’s exploded after they took it out of the microwave. Had to be hospitalized and all
Im always hungry at the office after 3pm, so im thinking of buying the whole cartoon of egg and cook it at the office when im hungry. Thank you for this video!!!
I mix a little milk to my scrambled eggs and they are way fluffier. Slap it on a grilled cheese on buttered toast with some fried ham , bologna or bacon. 🤤
I like my scrambled eggs set and find adding milk (never tried water) makes them runnier. This is my go to comfort food now, especially having had to become gluten-free - it used to be weetabix.
Thank you I made scrambled eggs then put them on bread with mayonnaise, sadly we didn't have ketchup but it was delicious! I recommend you trying this but with two pieces of bread like a sandwich
Don't poach eggs in a glass of water. I just did it and the yolk exploded and toppled my glass over creating a wet mess. A mini pop and a splash happened using a bowl too but not as bad as the glass. Just cover the bowl
I thought you had to pierce the yolk with a toothpick before microwaving or it would explode. Glad I found this video. I wish I had found it a long time ago. Would have made doing low carb allot easier.

It only occured after 20 years of cooking eggs that I could decide to be as lazy as possible and just do it in the microwave lol
Made it almost 50 years without doing it but today…. Guilty lol
🤣😂🤣😂
I got to know that an egg can be cooked in a microwave at 28 years of age, I guess we all have our share of guilt to carry 😅
Some location we work there cooking is not allowed
