    We love collaborating with you Ali! Thank you for sharing this great information on our desert-adapted seeds. It's wonderful that so many Southwest gardeners view your videos and will be able to find our seeds this way. We also love how much practical information you pack into every video, it's so helpful! And we are thrilled that our seeds are at your store now. All the best to you and your fall garden.

    The garden trellis/tower made of wood - did you make or purchase those? If purchase please post a link…if you made them please do a video, they look great in the garden

      Aren’t they fun! We made them. We’ve had several people want to see how they are made. I’ll have to do that 😉

    Your videos are always full of good info. Thanks😊
    Drip irrigation is a must. Down in the south, it’s, hot, very humid, and little to no rain. Today is going to be 99 and the heat index is 106-110. It’s like walking outside into an oven. You just can’t breath I get out about 4-4:30 in the morning and done by 8. It’s just too hot.
    I have also been working on my second planting
    Beans, peas, okra, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, and few melons. Never leave your garden bare.

    • @Alisorganics
      @Alisorganics  7 месяцев назад +1

      We were 109° a week ago. Cooling to 104° this week!😂. But we are not humid. It does feel like an oven, even first thing in the morning. Yes! Never leave your garden bare. The few spots that are dry out so fast.

    • @Alisorganics
      @Alisorganics  6 месяцев назад +3

      My main garden are only 10” deep. Other beds scattered all over the property are anywhere from 18” to 2 1/2 ‘ deep. They all are just open bottom. 😉

    Your garden is beautiful and I’ve learned so much from you. I’m in zone 8A GA. The temp is 100 & above and I’m using shade cloth through out my garden. My garden is producing limited produce, especially pole beans. Any suggestions?

    Hi! Thank you for all the info! Can you please tell us what other kinds of mulch we could use? (besides wool & compost) Is wood dyed wood mulch ok?

    • @Alisorganics
      @Alisorganics  7 месяцев назад +3

      I don't like dyed mulch for the vegetable garden because it contains chemicals. Other things that you can use are pine needles, shredded leaves, dried grass clippings, straw (I don't use much as it blows away), wood chips in small amounts and pine bark all work well.

    Can you tell me why my peppers are always hard? Both my sweet peppers and hot peppers grow nicely but they are crunchy and not soft. I live in zone 8b.
