Just ordered one, already having an AKto. Pegging out all 4 corners first looks like a great idea as an issue I had with the akto was that, the tent tended to be squint as could not see the windward side when pigging the lee side with an erect pole.
Thank you my friend, a very nice looking tent, love the red colour. Thank you for a very informative review, very well put together… I have a Niak and I love using it, I have been looking at the Enan for considering a lighter weight for summer backpacking next year… 👍
Nice review. I love Hilleberg tents. I used the Akto riding across the U.S. It was the best tent I have ever used. I'm looking into getting an Enan for lighter weight Bikepacking trips.
Great video, I have an Enan and have used an Akto previously. Enan is thr better tent in my view with regard to condensation and space around the head whilst sleeping.
I'm seriously considering this tent. Thank you for taking your time & effort by showing me you actually using it & allowing me to make my own decision about whether this is for MEeee, or not. I'm 5'3", a slim 108# so I now know there is more than enough interior space, for lil ole MEeee. I'm surprised you made no mention of the footprint, nor do you even have it. I, personally wouldn't consider pitching any tent without something under the tent's floor. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada, U.S.A.
Another good video Hendrik, thanks. I still prefer my Tarptent MOMENT DW to the ENAN design. The latest version is stronger and great in high winds. It's excellent ventilation keeps it fairly free on condensation.
Nice video from the hilleberg Enan. Thank you . I have the Enan and i like the tent . The tent is reasonable light weight. Condensation can be a problem with the Enan. But i have also the Niak and this tent is my favorite, because it is also reasonable light weight and a free standing tent with more space then the Enan. And the Niak have less problems with Condensation then the Enan.
For under a third of the price of Hilleberg tent you could buy a tent that is properly vented, ok for people above 5ft tall, lighter, and where the manufacturer doesn't have to recommend a water proof cover or little towel with you to dry of the INNER, in other words a good tent.
@@kobold90 That's what I wrote earlier. I would say that Kerlon 600 is still much stronger than generally used and accepted 20D silnylon or silpoly. In Hillebergs standards I totally understand the change. Kerlon 1000 is bombproof.

Nice and light tent, pitched in a beautifull spot and a well made video! I am very happy with my Hilleberg Unna.
Thank you Kayasper, glad you enjoyed the Video & your Hilleberg!
@@HendrikMorkel We are actually some kind of family, haha. Let´s see, are you happen to be dutch?
Great review and nice video, well done and thanks for sharing this with us. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Kirsten! Next Tent Sessions Video comes Sunday evening ;)

Thanks Manual, and I think the Enan for bikepacking is a good choice!

Danke! Du bist schon der zweite der nun das Unna nennt 😁 Vielleicht muss ich mir das mal anschauen...
@@HendrikMorkel Ganz sicher musst du das 🤣

Thanks Raymond! I tried the Niak once and also like it, and yes, probably more than the Enan!
I've been wondering about "condensation". Thank you for sharing your own personal experiences.
Good video there brother. Looks like a great tent.
Thanks mate!
beautiful spot. just wondering if the hiss in the background is traffic.
Yes, that’s traffic noise - sadly everywhere around here 😩
@@HendrikMorkel pity, but well, same here in the Netherlands.

What tent?
Weight seems good but the pack size seems quite large for a lightweight tent?
I think it’s a normal pack size Mark, the segments of the pole are kept short so max pack size length should be that - I packed it pretty airy 😊
from the looks of it it looks like a very large stuff sack, i'm guessing rhat you could compress it even smaller than that
From weight, I suppose this is the older model from Kerlon 600? Current Kerlon 1000 model is tad heavier. Nice presentation!
Ari Grönlund Thanks Ari! Not 100% sure about the material, I imagine it is also the 1000 Kerlon.
@@HendrikMorkel Old Kerlon 600 model bit over 1kg total and the new Kerlon 1000 model 1.2kg total.
How old is it? Maybe then Hilleberg could answer the question.
@@arigronlund3564 The old Enan was 1.1 kg and the new is 1.2 kg. Hilleberg thought the 600 Kerlon was too weak.

Can I ask, what shoes are you wearing? Those look nice lol
Thanks Amber, that are Black Diamond Misison LT Approach SHoes - they're really comfy, and also available as a Women's Model: bit.ly/3q3vEfS =)
It's interesting how the design of this tent is nearly identical to the tarptent moment dw. Who copied who?
Why red though...
Why not?! Looks great on photos :)
It’s me a TENT
🤔
my name is also enan
hi Enan
