@@runningwithoros402 BLACK LOVE UNPLUGGED I don't think y'all understand how therapeutic and how much of a blessing this channel is. I look forward to the weekend just for Saturday mornings the week feels like an eternity...also I'm here for the vocab👌👌 With the love languages we don't have to limit ourselves to one mos? As a person who has been in an abusive relationship before, I concede with you Oros on walking away. At first I thought I could help that person as the root of their troubles didn’t come from me, I thought I understood it and could go the distance in eradicating that which makes them see women in a bad light. But after countless incidents of being left bruised, eye vessel damaged, lying unconscious bcz of being strangled etc, I finally realized that it isn’t my place to help them. That they would have to seek help without me, for I was losing myself trying to find them. Besides the physical abuse aspect, there was also the emotional/ mental one that I wasn’t pretty enough, I wasn’t smart enough, anything not enough was me. I started believing these and walking in that light of not being enough, that messes with your self-esteem/confidence in a big way. So if you are in a situation like that - ladies, gents even don’t think twice, walk away. Coming back home to myself has been one of greatest achievements to date (I still get triggered of course bcz we share a child with this person) but I think where I’m at and the kind of partner God has granted me has made me appreciate this journey more. I use to suck at communication bcz in that hellhole, speaking up about your insecurities led to a clap, but now I’m with sum1 who teaches me about the importance of communicating, sum1 who is learning my love languages and giving them to me in daily dosages. But also I wana say, give yourself the love language you need, be kind to yourself and give yourself that too. Thank you guys for episodes that scrape the surface & deal with real/ relatable issues ❤️❤️

it is so necessary guys to share such subjects and go deep with this love journey because unhealthy relationships contributes a lot in abusive relationships that ends up in the killings. people do not fully understand how to be in a relationship. some are mot communicating well with each other and their misunderstandings leads frustrations and end up hurting of each other. so if we share how we keep happy in our own relationships, people will pick up strategies of fixing theirs and than live happily ever after. lets be realistic about love life. Guys I'm happy you touched on this topic of how we are raised as young black men. I've been told at least by two of my exes while I was in those relationships at that time that I can never lay my hands on them, and it was like a dare. But I understood what it would make me as a person going about life and how I would see women. We all need to have these conversations. I can recall a lot of times being told back in the day a man had to turn the women's arm for them to agree to being in a relationship

Confessions. I always have to watch twice coz the first time around I'm just looking at Bianca 😆... soo humble and beautiful maan😊. I wish you guys the BEST♡
Okay watched this for the second time, Oros said something like if the relationship ain't making him happy anymore or something like they keep hurting each other he would rather go out of the relationship and i saw Bianca paused and gazed at him for a moment okay then here is my thought, I think a relationship is not different from being a kid in a family full of siblings and parents, relationship should be given the same love and patience we give our siblings or parents after they have hurt our feelings over and over again but that doesn't mean it should be toxic, my point is at some point you get to know your partner and what he/she likes and does not not like, the relationship grows and spent years together so if your partner starts to do something he/she hasn't been doing all this years we should know that there is a distraction somewhere and this is where patience has to come through because at this point we get to get to the bottom of the issue and find it, as black community or young generation we do not see the need for counseling and this is where it has to come in. Because I do not believe in this say that says "nothing last forever" problem is our egos always get the best of us at some point and we say things like "why should we nurse someone's child feeling whom i found old" so i say before deciding to go out of relationship we should look at different options to make it work but then after that if it doesn't work out then yah we can part ways "maybe"
wow, each episode i watch is an eye opener for and i thank you very much please keep em episodes coming they change many perspectives. please talk about temper and how to deal with it if both partners have it and one is a very emotional the other one just doesn't care and wants to always be right.
this was an amazing topic. you guys speak so well, both your perspectives are amazing!!!! Oros you speaking about our black culture is relevant and for young black love to change the status quo. its about time.
Great topic...Oros u telling the truth...set boundaries from the on set and know the "no no" then....if it involves physical abuse you walk away. And yah men should learn to talk. Get it out.

With me, l think love languages go beyond romantic relationships. I say in any relationship love languages play a very big role in maintaining and sustaining the relationship. Looking back now I'm realising that my my best friendship is still good today - amongst all other dynamics - because my friend understands my love language (quality time... ) and I understand hers (biggest one being words of affirmation). Love love love your channel ♥ SHOUT OUT TO #BLACKLOVEUNPLUGGED.
I love listening and watching you guys - wish nothing but th best for you all Please could you speak about how social media or should i say phones have negatively effected your relationship? I see my relationship so much in you guys as we are also newly parents and and a new couple( 2 hours in it)

Thanks guys for sharing thus part of your lives with us much appreciated. I was wondering if you could engage a little bit more with us your audience and try and maintain some eye contact. I hope said it nicely. Keep up the good work

There is no best way. One thing I've learnt about men is that they show you and tell you who they are from the beginning so read from that. This patriarchal society is the reason why men reason the way they do. If you cannot have open and honest communication with your partner without them feeling attacked then y'all should not be together. Because we are there to build each other and not ruin each other. Communication, trust, respect and open honesty are top priority is any relationship you form. You always need to be your authentic with people and if they cannot appreciate you then you've done your work and it's time to pack up and move on.
I love this topic.. It's very close to my heart I feel like we as young couples are Realy struggling to love each other we are focused on egos as u say but in most cases it's not egos its maturity and stigma and the issue of bazothini syndrome People need to understand that what worked for theirs in their love journey might not work for the other. It's vital to accept your wrongs as a human and deal with them harmonisely
Wow.. you two 🥺❤ thank you for bringing this topic up.. believe me my people I've learnt a lot.. I just can't wait to watch your episodes with my partner just from the beginning.. you're an inspiration to me .. I love you so much.. your topics has taught me a lot.. 😍❤️❤️
