I'm a 5'9" male who loves metal, but after hearing this song and this band tonight, I finally realised that I identify as a dwarf and my music has been impoverished and sadly lacking until now.

@@gravynavy516 I'm 5'9'' as well. In our modern age any man under 5'10' appears to be considered short. At least that is my experience and that of others around the same height.
I’m a 5’6” male, who was already listening to alternate/metal music. I’m the shortest one in my friend group (yet somehow the tallest one in my house). It fit perfectly into my tastes and height.

As another 5'9" male, I must state that while we aren't above 6', we are the absolute best height if you convert our height to inches.

Two kinds of people in MMO's - Dwarves, and people who wished they were DWarves.
Got a more serious sound than "classic" Wind Rose. It's different and refreshing. It's sort of a "we have to do go kill this dangerous dragon to save the world, so lets man up and get going!" Most of their other stuff is a bit more "we are so pumped, lets go find a dragon to kill and be home at lunch"

I gotta agree, I've noticed a significant increase in the complexity of their compositions and overall musicality from what I've heard from this album so far. I mean we're not talking Nightwish or Wintersun level, but it's very solid and approachable powermetal.

just saw these absolute lads in Manhattan! 🤘They crushed the whole set, but the three songs I think had the most energy was this (everyone in the crowd answered RISE! and HOO! perfectly!), Army of Stone, and the back-to-back Diggy Diggy Hole double-play, it was MAGICAL

I remember when "Dragonborn" by Jonathan Young was my go to song for heavy lifts. This has recently replaced it for the bench press and cable flys. The entire machine rocks when I am ripping cable flys at 160 lbs per hand for sets of 15 screaming "Together we RISE".
Cant get enough of this song and video. I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan and this whole "dwarf rock" genre is just epic. I need more of this "Battle Music" kinda songs. Mine Mine Mine and Diggy Diggy Hole are also epic
It's really something. I'm a huge fantasy nerd too and I have never felt so validated by a band before. Fantasy Dwarves have always held a special place in my heart as the stubborn and proud but loyal and heartful race, secluded yet maybe the strongest sense of community in many fantasy settings. Much like myself, Dwarves are hard to befriend but once you do you've found a friend for life!

Absolutely and without question this is the greatest heavy metal album recorded in history. It is hands down better than anything I've heard since the mid 1970s. And that says a lot because I've heard all the best. These guys are off the charts

A thoroughly enjoyable slice of flagon-swilling sword-swaying Battle Metal from this Italian band. It's clearly had some money thrown at it, and it's paid off. I loved the tubthumping tempo, the rabble rousing lyrics and irresistible singalong melody. The production are level are excellent. I'm never here for the video but I did enjoy this one. My Score: 4*
