Bought a 1.8 MK4 GTI for $1,000 USD. Had 99,000 miles on original engine and transmission (159k KM). When I bought it, it had a K&N Typhoon CAI ($350 USD), EMUSA BOV ($50 USD), Rear wheel spacers ($120 USD), & aftermarket halo headlights ($150 USD)! I've only had to replace the alternator, tinted the windows, and service it. Still running great after almost a year! Can't wait for the TT videos!

BAM engine and quattro is a banging combination. Definitely the best car of it's kind for the money.
i just bought a mk3 TT absolutely love it. was in my late 20s when the MK1 TT came out always wanted one but couldn't afford it. Still a stunning car, you got a good deal there fella.
I was torn between a TT and a JCW Cooper... I got the Cooper 😁 but sweet ride bud, proper looking forward to the vids on this motor it might tempt me to get one too 👍

1.8t is the best bang for buck here in the uk.
Just stop telling people...the price will go up!!
Actually the Awk is the best 1.8t not many people know it but it is. It has all the same strengths as the bam but without all the emissions control added rubbish and it’s cheaper road tax!
The 225 and 210 map to the same, the 210 was a factory detune by Ecu only.
I have an s3 8L and have been a professional mechanic for over 10 years.
S3 and TT will be going up. They’re getting old!

Nice price. I believe the convertibles are a little cheaper than the coupé
@@aseyeseait Maybe, however I did get the 225 4V turbo with a few problems in black. The roof worked and the whole car was road legal and taxed. I consider that an amazing deal.
