Have you heard of the eberlystock f7 kite? I got mine a few months ago and it’s an amazing bag. Pretty light weight but the best feature is the expandable roll top which allow for a simple day hike with minimal stuff or a fully kitted load out. It’s also very modular and has so many possibilities and is very customizable (there’s countless attachments you can buy for it). When looking for backpacking packs I quickly realized that ultralight hunting packs are the way to go because they are designed both very light weight and unbelievably tough. I find hunting packs are much more thought out and purpose built for the outdoors, I’ve gone through several osprey packs but this pack by far is much more comfortable, modular, customizable, lightweight, and durable. It’s also really well thought out as you can access everything in the bag directly from the front which saves a lot of time having to dig through the entire pack from the top. Also great channel, I just discovered it and have been watching a lot! Sad to see you haven’t posted in a year but hope all is well!
I use and highly recommend a Kelty Tioga or a Kelty Trekker...both Backpacks are guaranteed for life...even a Zpacks warranty is about a year or one through hike...you can still carry a 10 lb base weight or less with these...I own both designs...if Kelty never made Backpacks 99.9999999999 of thru hikers or Sauntering Backpackers wouldn't exist today. . .Kelty Backpacks started the modern Backpacking movement. . .I am a Sauntering thru Backpacker... P.S. Who was the people that set 10 lbs or less as Ultralight? Was there a committee that voted on that information? Or did somebody just come up with a arbitrary number that they thought look good. . .? I always learn something from your videos...
I love Kelty's stuff, that is what I started backpacking with. It was my dad's old pack that he had for a long time and still looks and works great today. HAHA I have no idea who decided the ultralight weight. I know I could go lighter thats why I call it ultralight(ish).
