of course 2020 would bring us Top Gunner instead of Top Gun

This film is rated a 1.8/10 on IMDb!
I think this movie was really just an old guy out in a field with his binoculars having insane daydreams.
Wow plot twist
he is still tripping on the brown acid from woodstock
The guy was definitly high on something lol
That's the best explanation possible.

The CGI and logic in this movie makes ACE COMBAT looks like a Simulator! lol
Boy, Ace Combat can tell a story.
@@ivebeenbamboozled9210 oh story wise Ace Combat is side by side with MGS! If we were to compare that even a true top gun movie wouldn't be match to ace combat!
My SU 57 destroys multiplayer lobbies at 9G’s, this shit is beyond that.
Ace Combat 5 plotline with anime tropes and superweapons ala Metal Gear is way better than this shit.
@@lukasi.v4269 AC's story kicks ass, of course it's better than this.
When Mover was rendered practically speechless by the mass-ejection scene, I totally lost it lmao
Movie Ruins Mover.
Figuratively speaking.
I was already on the floor at that point. Never saw him look so shocked before.
I burst out laughing so hard when she ejected from her perfectly good jet 🤣
It's times like these, where I feel a bit RE-SIGNED.... To just f'ing EJECT, rather than admit that I am blind. 😂
@@CWLemoine 🎶🎶🎵🎵🛩🚀
"he's got BVR capability"
"SO HAVE YOU YOU'RE IN AN HORNET!" 😂😂😂
Although to be fair if the SU-57 is actually meaningfully stealthy you won't get a detection let alone a BVR solution.
@@timgosling6189 That's a big if though
I think the movie Hot Shots had better, and more realistic flight scenes.
And those ejections, I think they got the idea from Admiral Benson : "You know, I've personally flown over 194 missions and I was shot down on every one. Come to think of it, I've never landed a plane in my life."
Actually a lot of troopers in ww2 never lander in an aircraft, every time they went up they jumped. so strange.
Ahahah best line ever!
"Admiral Benson!"
"Oh really, that's my name too!"
Lol!
here is a quote: "Ahh the open sea"
@@KoobLis100 🤣
The ejection, ram, ejection scene is absolute gold! 😂😂😂
Why they all eject??? Mover 2020
The expression he had is the essence of genuine bewildered “what the fuck?”. I haven’t laughed like that for a while.
Thats the Banzai tactic right!?!?!?!
The commanders debrief would've been epic.
"Gun him" *ejects to crash*
The movie that is so ridiculously
inconsistent, it is almost perfect.
Oh Dear....This movie was well ruined before "Mover" got to review it.
He's technically abusing the afflicted right now. Beating the dead horse. Kicking em when they are down... I approve. 😎
If it ain't fixed, don't break it?
He didn't even have to ruin it.
Mover Euthanizes Movies
This is when the DoD should be allow to sue for damages, against these production companies.
You'd sue them for false advertising the military. People would be dumb enough to believe this shit and carry this with them into service. Considering people are becoming even more and more disconnected from reality, it comes to no surprise, we got this movie. It's so far from reality, that to myself, it looks almost intentionally made shit as a comedic relief version of Top Gun.
@@warhog258 That's not how that works

Ha! I worked on this film - Seriously ROFL - Just love your expressions as you try and watch this! :D
We get tiny budgets, 7 -14 day shoots and 2 - 3 weeks to do VFX with a VFX team of 4-8 people (And get asked to animate the strangest things - I had to do the shots where the jets crash into each other and the one with the "Stealth plane" flying around the helicopter) - Most everything is padded out with stock shots so yes, whatever stock shots they have make up the "Air Force" ;) .... There is a sequel out this year (2022) TOP GUNNER: DANGER ZONE. LOL!

This is so painful to watch...thank you for your service Mover, the world owes you for this one.
You apparently need to pass a lot of tests to join the Air Force. It seems that knowing which branch of the military operates aircraft carriers isn’t on any of those tests...
When the chick ejected, it reminded me of the Simpsons with the Japanese Seizure Robots. Where Homer comes in, unaffected by the cartoon, sees his family having fits on the floor and shrugs then joins in.
"I got shot down by a helicopter" Lol that should be a patch.
Many pilots were actualy shoot down by Apaches in the 80s during a trainning.

That was by far the best Mover Ruins Movies yet, my face hurts from laughing 😂
At least the top secret stealth fighter came with complimentary Bose and DC Headsets. Classy
"No you didn't, that's a lunch box." Mover, that got me good 😂
I stepped on a nail 2 years ago and developed a bacterial infection that required 3 operations to get rid of. I had to have a wound cleaning and bandage change without any pain killers or lidocaine to numb the leg up. It was still less painful than watching this movie. Given the choice between the two....I guess I'm screaming into a damn pillow while they pack my leg to the bone.
This is the greatest commentary on a movie 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I’m dying. Thank you so much for using this movie C.W. I think this took years off your life. Please redo this with Gonky, he has to feel your pain.

You rock mover. Just got home from the icu again and I'm diving right into the past weeks worth of videos. God bless you for all of your hard work. Patriots like you keep Americans like me movin' brother.
"Dude's back with his binoculars..." I almost spit my drink out laughing. This whole episode had me laughing hard. Thanks Mover!
Total budget for this movie I estimate to be about $20,000, $15,000 of which went to Julia Roberts brother Eric Roberts.
So realistic, I felt like I was really in the Air Navy....Force. Many don't know that it was based on a true story, just like Iron Man and The Martian.
Imagine going to a theatre that is showing both "top gun: maverick" and "top gunner" at the same time and the guy behind the ticket booth gives you the wrong ticket
That is the whole point of the "mockbuster" although they rarely play in theatres. They are hoping that Grandpa sees it in the bargain DVD bin at Walmart and thinks "Timmy likes that Top Gun movie, I will buy it for him."
He’s got a lock on you? He doesn’t have radar! Classic 😂
Love the Bose headphones that they used while flying the stealth! They should have been the noise cancelling type so as not to hear the ridiculous chatter between themselves!
When I saw the A20s I immediately thought "Wow, that's like 10% of the budget right there."

The cadent jog at about 10 minutes, was hilarious!! The look on your face during that time was equally funny! (No disrespect, Mover)
"What the hell is a U47?"...........Good question..lol
Closest thing I could find that's Russian is the "Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut"......It looks to be a experimental aircraft that never saw production but was used a platform to further advancements in other fighters.........Of course this is assuming they were referencing this and not pulling something out of their rear....lol
Love the random abandoned asphalt road for the runway. The exterior shots of the hangars look like a farmer's machine shed.
I love how he says a SU-25 which is the Frogfoot which is meant for air to ground not air to air dogfighting. And then they show a SU-57
I loved how at the end Mover said "No you didn't, that's a lunch box" in a very serious voice.
It's the embraer cockpit. But yeah... a stealth embraer
Lmao .. “why are we all ejecting” 😂 😂
You have a lot of Texas Deputies down here that watch your show.. love it
Hey Mr. Lemoine, I recently found your videos and love your channel. Would you consider reacting to clips from the science fiction series Yukikaze? I think it's something that would especially appeal to you, the sound design and air combat sequences are amazing.
Oh my goodness. Mover, thank you for taking one for the team.
Oh my god... Helicopters chasing jets... Asylum did it again... At least now we know, what happened to Eric Roberts - he works for food at the Asylum studio)
Hey Mover - there is an RAF pilot (Craig Penrice) that has flown a T2, T38, F14, F18, P58 Mustang and spent three years as an instructor on the F15 A,B,C & D variants - he then was a test pilot for the Typhoon and to finish he ejected out twice - that would be one hell of an interview
I was in CAP. We only had 172's. How come we didn't get F15's or any of the good stuff? That would have made intro flights much more exciting :)
you didnt get f-22s like in syphon filter 2?
OH. MY. GOD!!!!! The dogfight scene with the helicopters...I'm completely speechless
😂😂😂😂😂😂
"WHY ARE WE ALL EJECTING?!?!?!"
Lost it....that doesn't even require context to be hilarious.
C.W. thank you for taking one for the team on this and watching it so we don't have to......EVER.
2:41 you can see the winding mechanism for an Airsoft electric gun 😂
Thanks Mover - I always enjoy these! Did anyone notice the tag line? "Our Gaurdians in the skies" - they misspelt Guardians!
damn this movie could've at least used some DCS and it wouldn't be switching jets every 3 seconds but that is what makes it so funny, it's the mistakes.
I actually think some intro Hornet scenes were recorded on DCS
Or ace combat at least.
@@danristheman1 Fair point. 70 missiles isn't that much after all
1. Pre-ejection is a real condition in young pilots, it’s time we addressed it. Thanks to the producers for having the courage.
"why are we all ejecting?" like seriously why was the woman ejecting xDD her six was clear and she just punched out for no reason xD
She had no one to talk her through the stall and flat spin that she was about to get into.
You really think they know why themselves? 😂😂😂

Sorry Mover, you did not ruin this movie. I was laughing pretty hard when that air force F18 got shot by the helicopter. But the battle with the SU57 had me in stitches. He ejects as his plane collides with the 57, when he could have gunned him, then sparrow pops out for no reason; that along with the look on your face - well I was just rolling. Great Stuff.
“How fast do they think these helicopters can fly? Is it Airwolf?” 🤣
Great vid Mover! You should head back to the chopper hangar and check one of your rudders. :)
"Brought to you by the studio behind Atlantic Rim" *oh no*

Google- "Did you mean smoking?"
"is the crisper safe?". This video was awesome! Really fun commentary Mover!
It's actually CRISPR which is a DNA thing that is much too interesting to be in this film.
"F A EIGHTEEN HORNETS"
I love how you can see a Cessna parked next to the hanger (11:33) in the scene where they’re running out to meet the crash landing cgi jet lol
This makes Ace Combat seem like an absolute masterpiece
Ace Combat is a masterpiece game 🎮
That phrase on the (probably) front of the DVD cover makes things pretty clear: "Our gaurdians (sic) in the skies"
Not much to ruin here, Mover, but thank you for making it entertaining.

You and Gonky need to setup an MST3k format for these reviews!
"We are going to fly an aircraft we have never flown before, without any training, should go well" More true words I doubt C.W. Lemoine has ever spoken.
At least in DCS you can say that for sure.
"We can't afford to send anyone down to Baja for filming. What can we do?"
