I would love to know more about my audience so that I can create better content for you! Are you a business owner, administrator, employee, in education or something else?
@@AlBergstein thank you for the comment 🤓 I can definitely relate to this! I hope that this video provided some clarity, if you have any specific topics that you'd like me to cover then please let me know!
Is this SharePoint or Teams functionality to have folders available in Office 365 family? I'm looking to create folders in Teams for my daughter and my wife but can't find the way.
Hello! Thank you for the question, this video was done using a business subscription. Sharepoint is a cloud for business accounts and is not part of the family subscription. I am not too familiar with the family subscriptions, but from what I have gathered on the internet, files stored in Teams using a family plan are stored in OneDrive. I hope that this helps, best of luck!
Luis, the best way to do what you want in the Family subscription is to simply share files and folders directly from OneDrive. As Amy points out, the current version of Teams for non business users is essentially a chat product. You can use it for that, and simply point her using a link to the OneDrive location of the folder. Simple.
It's a bit confusing to add the capability to create a site in a video that is supposed to simply train someone in using OneDrive. Having casual users suddenly thrown into creation of a SP site, Outlook Group, and Teams team just is a level of complexity best left to it's own video. I was hoping to use this for training our user base, but with that addition, I'll have to find a different simpler video. Thanks though.
Thank you for the comment, I am sorry to hear that you found this confusing. If you are looking for a video specifically on OneDrive then I have created a separate video just on that app here ruclips.net/video/9uXwYIfTTHM/видео.html This current video is to explain the differences between Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint and I strive to 'show' rather than over explain in my content hence the creation of a Team and SharePoint site. I hope that this helps.
I'm a SharePoint/Teams/M365 Admin and I like your channel. But unfortunately, for a lot of Spanish speakers like me, we can't tolerate the vocal fry that some people use in their videos (forcing the voice to sound deeper than it actually is)...It's so annoying and doesn't make sense to be. I recommended your channel to several colleagues and all of them said me the same. Just work on that and maybe your audience grows faster.
Thanks for the feedback and for supporting the channel. I appreciate the recommendation and understand that my voice might sound different to other countries. Unfortunately, this is just my natural voice and accent, so I hope the content can still be valuable for you and your colleagues despite that.

consultant/admin for many small NGOs and small businesses. Most clients do not have an admin on staff at all.

Thank you, Amy. Much easier now to understand the relationship between them.
