I’d say Salvatore ferragamo house is one of the best when it comes to cheapies too.
Ive only bought two so far(ezzential blu n f black) love them both so they're batting 2 for 2. So I'll keep buying when I find them cheap at rack stores.

All those fragrance houses are amazing! Lalique is one of my all time favorites. I love that they also make Bentley.
Just ordered White a few days ago and now I'm going to try Hommage as I'm an older gent and like a lot of the fragrances from all of these three houses.
I do like Salvatore Ferragamo, probably my no. 1, then Versace, and Montblanc.
Aside from the brands you’ve featured. I’d say Guerlain.
Far too many great choices from the brand with high quality juice and blend with outstanding performances for its price!
A really impressive house, also considering the Bentley lines they take care of!

@@mercedesbenzs600bash It's pretty unusual, and strong for sure! Very woody-cinnamony, dry and dense, with a strong ambery sweet (not overly) drydown. I like it, and a lot of 40+ people love it, but it's quite hard to wear around young people.

I was utterly stunned the first time I tried Bentley Intense (I ordered a little 15ml sample) and since I've used a full 100ml and am now on my second 100 ml. Absolutely niche quality in a designer package at dollar store prices. Bang for the buck this is one of the 5 best frags you can own.
I also have Encre Noire Intense and Lalique Lion so I do like the house.
@@WireHedd I recently bought L'Insoumis, a quite interesting one: peppery modern, and VERY green aromatic. It's not light at all and it doesn't have much sweetness.
How would you describe the Lion? Is it "hard" to wear around people under 30?
One of my favourite houses is the house of “ Jacques Bogart “. My two favourite fragrances in that house is “Silver Scent Midnight” and “Silver Scent Pure”.
Armaf & Salvatore Ferragamo are my go to houses. They rarely miss and perform well also
Sorry but Armaf has about two fragrances that don't smell like their price and project well. And we both know what those two fragrances are

When I was 13, Preferred Stock and Stetson were my jam! Those and British Sterling were my entry into fragrance.

Encre Noire could easily pass off for a niche fragrance. It's so well done.
Encre noir is like sweet woods after a rainy day. Gets better with dry down and lasts like 8 hours on my skin.
I’ll throw Varvatos into this mix! Mostly great, unique scents, and incredibly affordable. Nice bottle presentations too 👍🏼
@craigfranchetti I agreed. I’ve picked up the Dark Rebel and Rider - smells like beautiful leather and cannibis.

Works on my skin as well. I feel most ppl just go with what they hear and what's trending. Longevity is descent on me with rider
I get moderate performance from jv frangrances and imo they're the more natural smelling house of cheapies.
Big fan of Lalique. Have Encre Noire A L'Extreme, Encre Noire Sport, and White. White is my favorite summer fragrance, A L'Extreme for night or cold weather, and Sport for all-around versatility. Plan on adding more.
Just picked up Legend by Mont Blanc and Man in Black from Bvlgari and I really enjoy Legend. It does remind me of Fierce, but I think it’s more smooth and refined than Fierce is.
Mont Blanc Legend Night is my favorite from the Legend series 🤷♂️
I am right there with you. I wear Lalique Homme Lion EDP almost every day... except for when I give it a break so that I don;t get tired of it.
2 Houses I put high are Lalique and Bentley.
Same house, different names.
lalique is simply...THE BEST imo, counting quality & price... my first blind buy was Lalique Encre noir ai extreme; begginer's luck, i guess; but it took me some time to start to apreciate it, but now it's one of my top 3 of all frags i know...and normaly: Nathalie Lorson, genius
Mont blanc emblem is another Gem and Dolce and gabbana intenso for the price. 👍
Zara, Rasasi and Guerlain have great fragrances for great prices
I would of added Guerlain. So many great fragrances, quality and at a very low price. From their vetiver one, l’instant, habit rouge, homme and heritage, lots of great scents all in the $30 range.
All of Guerlain has more than doubled in price. All the ones you’ve mentioned, I’ve purchased. They’re are top notch!
Finally someone mentioned Lalique White.
Hi Ash, great picks, I am also big fan of Lalique, the only one that I would add to your list is Lalique Hommage a l'homme Voyageur, just love it, Greatings from Sunny Germany.
Blind bought Encre Noir based on reviews -- first try: hated it. Left it alone for several weeks and tried it again -- like it a lot. Blind bought Hommage a L'Homme gift set (for the price) -- love the frag.
How does homage a l'homme smells alike?

Couldn't agree more with lalique. I'd put bentley as a tie given their linkage and price points
For me the best “cheap” house would be Azzaro , great warm weather line with chrome and it’s flankers , and for the cooler weather you have the wanted line and all the azzaro-azzaro line 👍🏻
I would say Azzaro and Ferrari in addition to Lalique.

Agree totally. Lalique is an amazing house with great value Frags. Pour Homme smells great but just doesn't project or last on my skin which is a shame..Encre Noire range is just awesome. Great projection and longevity. Very niche smelling.
What about Rasasi? Just got Hawas and now I am interested in the house. Besides them I am already a fan of Salvatore Ferragamo and Mont Blanc. Haven't gotten anything from Azarro but thinking about getting one soon.
Super cheap that I like? Jacques bogart of course. One man show series they are all really affordable and I really like them.

I got it mistakenly because i thought i ordered montblanc Explorer and got encre noire instead. I love that nice dark somber cypress mountain in a dark fall evening vibe i get from it.
Just bought a set of the 3 Lalique Encre Noirs...I'm really excited. I finally took the plunge (blind buy) cause I've heard you talk about them several times now. Plus I got the 3 bottles for a great price off someone on Mercari!
I like dark fragrances and Encre Noire is way too dark and bitter. It smells like something Cruella DeVille would wear.
@@Polyfusia I first thought that too. It was the darkest fragrance I ever smelled. However, after repeated wear in different seasons, I no longer smell it as “black” but more “dark green”. It smells like a dark forest to me. Don’t give up on it. Try it out in different situations to help unlock all its secrets.
Versace the dreamer is still my favourite and it is expensive in my country. I am a guy but I also love floral by gucci.

I layered Encre Noire Cologne with Kanon and the smell was incredible but I let Encre Noire Cologne dry down a bit before layering.
Great picks! Lalique is one of my favorite houses, but I like Versace and Mont Blanc quite a lot, as well.
Another fantastic house you can pick up from discounters at a great price is Cartier.
Encre noir is very nice !

Lalique is apparently and unfortunately very expensive where I live. Same prices as Creed fragrances😦. Encre Noir is dirt cheap, but aside from that you can’t get anything under 200 dollars🙁

I just blind bought Hommage recently, on paper it becomes a nice soapy-violet flower scent which is pretty cool, but on my skin its a different story? Also I checked its batch code and the bottle is from 2012.... I hope it didn't go bad :[

The latest version of Versace pour homme is shocking it only lasts for two hours, I don't even detect any of the basenotes in it. Versace oud might be worth a shot.
Encre Noire A L'extreme is so spectacular that it only takes one whiff of it to make you buy that bottle. Extremely gorgeous notes. It has a quality similar to D&G The One. You spray it and for a while even you yourself will be bewitched under it's spell. Probably one the quickest decisions I made deciding to buy any fragrance. This and CK One Shock. For the price and quality of the juice, it's nothing I have come across so far.
Not gonna lie guessed Lalique! hahaha, as you said it might not appeal to younger audience, gave it away.
id stick to mont blanc explorer and club di nuit for re buy cheapies

I know this video is a year old now, but does anyone have any thoughts on Lalique's White In Black? I've read so many comments on Fragrantica that it's about 90% or more similar to PDM's Layton. Thoughts from anyone who's picked it up?

Azzaro and halloween are very solid as well. I buy gifts from them and they never fail to be well liked as well a Versace.

I bought this and it looks like the voyager bottle but clear glass instead of blue. Homage is a violet bomb & I do not like it

Anyone have any recommendations on a low price very manly scent? I'm a fan of Aventus and green irish tweed. I know they are far from similar but something along the lines of one of the those. I do have a bottle of Club De Nuit Intense man already. Thanks fellas
