Lots of us waiting for Starlink. Small quibble, it's MegaByte (for file sizes), not megabit. A bit is 1/8 of a byte. An 8 Mbit connection can download 1 MegaByte per second. Internet connections are listed in MBit per second because it sounds 8 times faster. Your HDD/SSD size is listed in MegaBytes, as is your RAM, and files stored therein. Cheers!
@@joemartinez7630 well I’m in Texas, I know people have been getting starlink here so I’m Sure my speeds will be great! I ordered in December so I might have to wait a while.
How is the latency for actual gaming? I also live in northern nm and in desperate need of better service. Out of the 3 services we have tried not one was able to deliver their promise of fast and reliable internet.
Latency is averaging 50 ms. It’s not the best of latency but it is definitely acceptable to casually game. There are down time with satellite internet but so far I haven’t noticed any down times.
@@joemartinez7630 My latency would fluctuate anywhere between 100 and 300 so this sounds like a night and day difference to what we are used to. I am definitely gonna give this service a try. Thank you!
How is playing Warzone with STARLINK? Any issues at all? I been waiting on my STARLINK in Kentucky for a little over a year now. Can't wait to get rid of AT&t mobile hotspot as it's $60 a month for 50gb and I have to go to my mom's to download the updates for warzone as it will chew into my 50gb limit my speeds are anywhere from 3gbps to 13gbps. Hopefully STARLINK will work with warzone because that's really the main reason I'm getting it.

I’m paying 70$ a month for century’s link dsl is so slow it’s advertised as 200mps but I only get 20 download and 10 upload and it sucks cuz there’s only 2 choices either cox or century’s link and cox has a data cap I’m thinking of buying
It is a good option for people who don't have access to high speed internet (fiber). so far i have been happy. Speeds could be a little more consistent but as time goes by i think it will only get better.
Unplug your starlink wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. That will reboot the system. Just don't power off and power on multiple times in a row, that will factory reset your starlink and you will have to reinstall it again.

DSL was originally my only option and the price was not worth it, installed starlink 2 weeks ago and yes worth every penny and works great
I agree for us which no other options, this is the best!

It works fine with Warzone. If starlink is your only option for high speed internet, its definitely worth it.
how did you connect your ps4 to starlink
I connected it to wifi during this video. You can now order a Ethernet adapter from the app if you want to hard wire to the system.
Do you have lag with starlink when you playing?
At times. Its still better then my old internet provider though.
the best internet I ever had is 2mbps to 500kbps

I'm not sure what in game ping is.
What made me decide on weather or not to get it was if it was an upgrade from what I had at the time, and it was.
