Yes, please do share your list of classic staples! Just watching your outfits gives me ideas. Knowing how to pair various pieces takes skill. Thanks Beth! ❤
I’d appreciate your classic’s list. I’m currently curating my closet. I went from corporate to working from home creating my new business and certainly needed a makeover. I’m doing pretty well, thanks to you and a few others here on RUclips. Thanks, Beth. You’ve been an inspiration to me for years now.
For an interesting twist, restyle your old belt with a broche or consider gluing on rhinestones or attaching an old clip-on earrin. You'd be amazed at how it will update your look. I've updated several old belts that way.
Once again good quality advice to anyone looking to learn how to add to one’s own lifestyle without having to pay lots of money on things that you don’t use or need every day thank you
We have such a short Fall/Winter season here in San Antonio, Texas. Just when I'm getting used to cooler weather, we will have a day like today in which it is warming into the 80s. I've barely had an opportunity to wear all my cool weather stuff. It really doesn't start getting cold or cooler here until after November, and it never lasts for very long. I think we had a couple of freezes, but no snow and nothing that wasn't manageable.
❤❤❤ I saved this video to remind myself seasonally of some things I need to update. I have been adding a “wish list” on my IPad app called Freeform so I can stay on top of my shopping. It’s helped me so much I actually feel like it’s acting a lot like a vision board for me. I’ve already purchased a fresh pair of khaki pants, a fresh white shirt, and some sandals for Spring/Summer. I’ve also been able to add to my Fall/Winter wardrobe by finding some great sales online. (One puff vest, one quilted jacket, a red sweater & a black/white sweater and a soft knock off Burberry scarf). I gotta add PJ’s to my list for sure. I loved the link on the SPANX lounge wear, very cute. Thank you Beth I loved your photo with the red skirt, red shoes and white shirt ❤
Yes, please share! I love your blouse. I am more than ready for Spring. We have 4 cats here, although only one is mine! I definitely will try the smart litter out. Thanks! 😺😺😺😺
Hi Beth! I feel the same about Summer here in Australia. Some time during February I'm suddenly over it (four or five days of over 40 degrees usually does it). The linen and sandals have lost their appeal. Bring on cosy knits, warm coats and boots. 🥰
I like your style picks! Additionally, I’ve found we all need some sort of dark, conservative outfit to wear to funerals. Yes, I know the funeral fashion rules have been overthrown, but I’m speaking of classy classic style. I think it’s much more respectful to those grieving to be understated. This outfit can also be useful for court appearances.☺️
I agree, years ago when my son was about 19, he got a speeding ticket and wore a suit to his court appearance. The Judge commended him for appearing in court in respectful clothing. Sad that most people don’t have the common sense to dress for the occasion.
Belts do last a lifetime. I have a gold glitter belt from the 1970s it’s a thin belt every time I look at it I laugh I kept it because I just wanted to remember that time in my life , it still fits me 😊
Another great video! I loved you in that white 2 piece bathing suit! You looked terrific. I haven't worn a 2 piece in years. Maybe I should look for one.
Yes would love to see your list.. . Here in the northeast it's cold so winter clothes are still must haves. Hopefully spring will be early this year. 🌹
Where did you get that beautiful navy dress with the white polka dots? Gorgeous.I love polka dots. Beautiful, elegant suggestions. You always look so lovely Beth. Please share your list of classic staples.
Shopping for swimsuits is my least favorite thing to do, so I ordered one from Johnny Was from their website and it fit like a glove. They have a wonderful selection. Great ideas, Beth. Love this video.
I like watches and I wear them everyday. I might wear my FitBit watch running errands, but for meetings, and other social gatherings, I wear one of my watches for that occasion.
Perfect points Beth! I’m glad you brought up swimwear. Nothing looks worse than poor fitting swimsuits, it has to support the girls and cover appropriately. There are 3 things I never “cheap out” on. Lingerie, swimsuits and shoes.
I thought I saw your travel hints outfits were beautiful - what do u use for carryon bag- not the suitcase one - just a larger pocketbook kind with trilby sleeve
Yes, it would be great to see your classics. I don't think short-waisted women with a stomach (apple shape) can wear belts, though. If there is a way, it would be great to see.
Hi Beth, I have very thin and pale arms. Watches and bracelets seem to accentuate this. Is there a watch style that would work, or should I avoid wearing one?
I would like a copy of your classic’s list. I enjoy all your content. I am headed to Washington DC and New York City in late April. If you have any suggestions on spring travel to the city I would love to see it!
Hi Beth, Love your videos. I see that you travel with DELSEY Paris Chatelet Hardside Luggage. Love the look of the Delsey luggage and am willing to invest in a set. Do you have a recommendation for an under seat bag?
What are your thoughts on the wide leg jeans, I think they are so cute but worry I am too old to wear them. (70). And finding the right fit is hard. Ugh,
I found a pair I love at H&M, the first pair of jeans to fit me in two decades! (I have great difficulty in finding any jeans that fit, my waist doesn’t have definition anymore, at almost 63). They’re actually from their “Divided”, teen/junior line*, so I sized up a size. The jeans I love are quite high-rise and what I call A-line jeans, fitted through to the hips, then flaring out gradually from the thighs all the way down. They are like 70s jeans, which I loved then and love again now. I also iron them the conventional way, with center creases, which makes them flare more front and back, not just side to side, it’s a bit more flattering. BTW, my 80-year old Mom turned me on to H&M a decade ago, it’s not just for teenagers, they have lots of great clothes for all ages, I just don’t buy their (or anyone else’s) synthetic-fiber ones. *If you go to H&M, check the Details tab under each item, it will say which line it’s from, i.e., Divided, Everyday Basics, etc. Don’t give up, you’ll just have to try lots of pairs.🙂
@@kimberlyperrotis8962 thank you so much for taking the time to do this! I will definitely look into H&M. I have heard of them but I have never checked them out. I love fashion but I am always trying to stay age appropriate.

Ralph Lauren is a good source for belts.

I would try a dainty, slim watch. Visit an antique store as they always carry very petite size watches.
