This season, lies are uncovered and relationships are strained, but love always finds a way. He was so aggressive and disrespectful to her that whole scene was abusive.
His mooching punk a$$ is refusing to move because he wants to finish his cookbook, while his wife keeps pleading for them to move out, so she doesn't have to take her mother's abuse any longer.
He needs to man up and get the fuck out that house and split rent/mortgage with his wife and not continue to support the mother's abuse of her daughter under the guise of "trying to help Candace", When he is really helping himself.

What man mooches off of his narc MIL while she abuses his wife, disrespects him, and constantly throws how she takes care of them in their faces?... Candace doesn’t respect him because he fails to do the basics of a good man: Protect and Provide! Not only does he mooch off of her mother, but he allows her mother and other women to attack her and spins it to make her look crazy!

This clip is the reason why I’ve always been team Monique over Candiace. She wouldn’t listen to what Monique was saying. Monique had a point on her hypocrisy and Candiace was antagonistic. People want to start with season five but forget all of what happened in this season. It was like all hell broke loose because Monique and Ashley found common ground. Looking back on this… Monique was being inauthentic. I remember she tried to get Ashley and Candiace to talk and Candiace was unwilling. Then when Charisse arrived and Gizelle tried to get Monique to squash her issues with Charisse there was resistance from Monique. So yeah Monique was a hypocrite.
I think the issue with Monique and Charisse is deeper than the one with Ashley and Candiace at least at that time. Ashley and Candiace could be friends if they both weren’t petty.
