Then it turned into a story of being bullied as a child. Now it’s a story of being the middle child and having to fight for attention.
Most of those stories have nothing to do with Candiace and don’t explain how Candiace gets assaulted but people that actually deserve the smoke don’t get it. While I’m sensitive to Monique’s history, there have been multiple issues with misplaced rage & anger, and multiple scenes with pastors & therapists across the seasons. At what point does the behind the scenes work get put in to address the trauma, because otherwise the backstory simply becomes nothing more than an excuse for bad behaviour? 🤔
