For someone who has been a fan of K.Michelle for 10 + years, this interview was by far the most I have seen her so comfortable and in her element. To watch her sing, tell her story, and be herself this is what we needed. She always been genuine, authentic, and honest. It's obviously her first love and how she prefers to sing. How she sings now is her comfort zone and her preference rather than how she used to sing.

Emphasis on REAL voice! I’ve been a fan since ‘09 and that’s why I fell in love with her. Although I been rocking for all these years somewhere along the way I noticed the over use of auto tone or some special effect on her records that she does not need! This def proved it! I wish she would just sing! Love her down!

Her dad is an AMAZING professor at LOC in Memphis, and I remember being in class and he told us he had a daughter that was going main stream and at the time she was opening up for a concert with R Kelly. I really pray she gets the recognition she deserves and when she sang you feel every word. ❤
