@@MattDecuir THAT PART! I must be honest though. Kelly's VOICE is undeniable. Her tone is rich and smooth. Her voice is colorful and crystal clear. And there is an effortlessness to her vocal delivery. HOWEVER, I'm STILL waiting for the day this girl will FULLY let go of her inhibitions and SING with reckless abandon. She should open her mouth WIDE, so the sound is open and full. She should breath through the phrasing. I'm not sure why she sings an entire stanza in one breath. It's impressive that she can do that, but if she would breathe through the phrasing it would enhance her sound even more. You know what it is; most industry singers are not classically trained. They've had vocal coaching, but they are not trained vocally. When you've had classical training you learn how to literally make your voice it's own instrument. Most pop singers do just enough to get through the song/concert, and there's all sorts of technical assistance and/or distractions. Classical singers can perform an operatic 2 hour set, and there are no added affects (no mic tricks, no echo machines, no auto tuning, no backing tracks, etc.); just their voices. And the sound they produce fills up the whole auditorium (without a mic). All they need are good acoustics. Kelly should find herself a voice teacher (who specializes in opera). Not an industry vocal coach, but an actual trainer. She would become a whole new singer. And that incredible voice of her's would finally peak. That's what I'm waiting for.

Kelly is the first woman that really made me feel like dark skin was just as beautiful and wonderful as everything else on TV. The way she continued to shine in her own way regardless of her ties with Destiny’s Child was always an inspiration!!

When Kelly said that they were working a lot, she didn't lie one bit! I worked in radio in Chicago when DC started out...they WORKED at a rate that most new artists could never even imagine! They did radio, they did promo dates, they did more radio, and, they sung EVERYWHERE! They earned every single bit of success theyve gotten!

There were so many hopeful that Beyoncé would close the season but the way Mrs. Kelly just closed this season is indescribable. It was entertaining, motivation, encouraging, I learned new songs of hers. Her voice sounded like her record.
