Watched this for pure entertainment, but you know what? This is actually great advice to be more likable in entertainment in general. I'm going to use some of these tips for RUclips vids, etc. Thanks Adam! One of my fav winners as a person. :)
I definitely believe that the process of improving a reality tv audition video builds super transferable skills for public speaking, storytelling, developing a compelling communication style, etc. Glad you found this useful!
Adam, I have to say, you are my favorite survivor winner and I enjoyed your seasons so much. You give such great advice on confessionals and your advice is proven true as the way you described confessionals are absolutely accurate. Your are one of my favorite players and winners ever. Lord bless you
Hi Adam! Guess who the weird person with the tiara in the icon is. Yep! It’s me, Cait, that crazy girl you made a video for as a Christmas gift. Oh my gosh, I am so happy and honored that you made me that video! I was amazed, and I burst into tears when I saw it! Also thanks for these awesome tips that are going to make me not talk about dumb things (such as how I love when filet mignon melts in my mouth) in my Survivor audition video! I did audition for Survivor in March, but I was so disappointed in my video that the final clip in it was me throwing uncooked rice on myself. That was fun though! Also, here is my life since I saw my Christmas video from you in a nutshell: Five and a half months later, school ended, I got a job at Five Below, I started singing on TikTok (yes thank you for liking my awful songs), and I am going to summer camp on June 25th. And I got to go to Gucci for my birthday! Yes, things have been smooth, like, going great smooth. Well, in the chance that you ended up reading this very random spiel, thanks for paying attention to my sob story that isn’t really even a sob story because my life is so good. Thank you for everything you have done for me, and hopefully you’ll see me doing the dumbest things on Survivor in the near future!
Hi Cait!! So good to hear from you again! So glad things are going so well for you and I'm so glad you loved the video I made for you and found this video helpful!
This is so insightful! There you go adding your perspective Adam 😎 I’m working on my audition tape this week! I cannot keep putting it off. I live in rural Alabama and I’m so so ready to get on Survivor, see the world, and watch my embarrassing confessionals!
Adam's eyes are both creeping me out and making me laugh. I don't know what to feel. Lol! :D Anyways, you are one of my favorite winners of Survivor. Thanks for this great video Adam.
I feel like most people at a young age applying have a harder time when making it through the interview process because of their "little experience in life". Any advice on what to say or show in an interview to emphasise your own experience in life?
go out and do interesting things whenever you can, get really passionate about unusual or interesting things. most young people applying will have the same activities and interests. talk about how you volunteer with special needs kids or do underwater basketweaving etc
Hey Adam! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! I am working on my Survivor audition right now for season 43! Would you consider posting your audition video? Or maybe sharing ones that you helped people with, that you think are good enough to get on the show? Thanks so much! Also, I loved your coin flip trip show and you're such a dynamic and entertaining player!
What time of year would you recommend applying? (P.S. Thank you for providing these insights for free! Definitely considering signing up for your casting coaching!)
If you have never applied before, you should apply as soon as you are happy with your audition video. It will eventually be viewed even if casting is not currently working, and it is better to get the ball rolling as soon as you can. For Survivor, which I am assuming you're asking about, it's good to then send in your next video during the summer or early fall, as casting will normally begin early August, and it's ideal to have a recent video in for the beginning of the casting cycle. I would then re-up your application around that same time each year, if it hasn't already worked out for you! Once you apply, it can be days, months, or on very rare occasions even years for you to hear back - so continue about your life making it the best it can be and try not to worry about when that call might come, if you can! Hope to work with you! Please reach out via my website www.adamklein.com/casting if you have any other questions or want to book!
Really solid advice Adam. I've been making audition videos for a few years and have never gotten a call, definitely need to put these tips into practice!
Thanks so much! Hit me up if you want some help! I'm really enjoying helping people figure out what may have been missing from their auditions for however many years it's been. www.adamklein.com/casting
Loved the vid man! I just applied to Big Brother, and i was comparing my video to other people's to see if there was anything i could have done better. I found your video and it was the perfect checklist i needed! After every point you said you have to do... i got super excited! I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a callback after i nailed point after point in the vid. Niko D
Hi Adam just wanted to say that you are one of my favorite Survivor players of all time! I want to apply but I'm not 16 yet so I geuss I have to wait :( But I will remember this when I do apply!
I literally have so many... my entire LIFE could be from start to finish. Both of my parents were born on completely different continents (Germany and Guadalajara) Not only am I a first-generation Mexican American, but I can't even speak the language! I can fake it pretty well, tho bc my pronunciation is 💯 #legitish #legitimate #onpoint #snatched #humor
Do you have to be very outgoing? I am sometimes not always outgoing. I like to think 🤔 about my moves in life. I keep thinking I am not interesting. Yet I am told I am quirky and funny.
Hi Adam, I appreciate your videos and giving us important information on how to make an audition video. I’m reaching out because I don’t know what I’m doing wrong when it comes to applying for SURVIVOR. I’ve applied 25 times. I’m not going to stop applying till I get on. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong when it comes to my videos or if the casting producers just don’t like me. Don’t know if you can help. Anything would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Hey Adam I am a super big fan and I loved your gameplay on Survivor! I have applied for Survivor 2 times and I am preparing for my 3rd audition next year. My question is does it hurt to put your audition on RUclips to gain traction or should I keep my audition private and only send it into the casting team?
Hi Adam Klein ok so I am 17 years old and I live in Utah at the moment, I moved to the US from the UK when I was 16 and I am now in medical school. Since you are one of my favourite winners and you’re good at tips, would me being born and raised in the UK ruin my chances of being in survivor. Also if I ever get into survivor, I will do a shoutout to you
Do you think my husband and I can film an audition tape together for survivor? We will obviously "not know each other" while on the show, but can we do the audition together? Thank you.
Im about to try out for 2023 season of Survivor. Would you recommend doing a video submission or go to open casting calls and why? I recently found out open casting is 1.5 hr away from me. Either way, I can't ffing wait!
I LOVE YOU, I have decided to audition but I have HIV undetectable and take a small dose of mental meds, as well as smoke weed and a little tobacco but could i still be on it :P oh and I might be the Messiah :P
The only reason you won is because you cried about your mom, part of me hates you for being a weak winner, another part of me respects you doing what it takes to win, even if I disagree with it
Adam on day one you got chickens also on day one we saw Figgy's hand in the chicken pot then we never see the chickens. My question is did Figgy let them out did you yell at her and where is that footage.

everyone should behave like this period that way and make life more fun :P
I love you Adam. Just watched a “best of Adam” video on RUclips. I forgot how much of an amazing and entertaining survivor player you were. ❤️
so helpful adam!! I feel really confident in my tape now!
If you're already doing these things you are WAY ahead of the vast majority of auditions.
@@SurvivorAdam so glad you won!

Thanks! Never too early to learn how to become an effective communicator and storyteller!

You did great. I sent my video in spontaneously. Something I would never do.
Thanks for these tips! I've been recruited by a reality casting director to submit a video and I want to rock it!
Yay! Adam uploaded again! Been a while!
Thank you for having these tips and tricks available. Loved your Survivor seasons and Mini International Sequester.
You are the best Adam ,your the best male winner of Survivor
Loved this video!! His coaching is super helpful :)
Great video! Really good information I haven't heard before. I'm curious about the Written Bio portion, do you have any tips or info for that?
This’ll def help with my audition this season

I most definitely will be taking the coaching lessons! I just hope you’re still doing them in a year or so when I’m fully out of the army.
You should do a top 10 fav player list or top 10 fav moves. Also this is really helpful thank you👍

This was really helpful! My biggest question is: does it matter if your audition video is one take or can I clip pieces together?
great video :) i really loved when you went for the idol at tribal council, if that worked i wonder how the end of the season would have impacted
This was very helpful thank you!
Hey Adam I would love to see some videos with some insight/advice and tips for when you get a call back and the interviews after your audition video!
