Thanks for posting the useful information. One strange thing, though, is that Fenix claims there is something proprietary about their cells. That is an odd claim when "right to repair" is an important consideration for many buyers these days. On testing Fenix lights appear to work normally with any 3.6V or 3.7V lithium high-drain protected button top cell and not just their own brand. The capacity indication also works as expected. It is hard to understand why they would claim it was some kind of special cell when it is not.
Very nice that it has USB C but don't like the charging port with that flimsy rubber plug....I prefer no holes on the actual light....prefer to have the charging port on the actual battery not the flash light.
For me, magnetic charging is a must. Hope Olight never changes that with their workhorses.
I hate tail switch's, plenty of other lights have them if you want one. USB "C" great, magnetic would mean more junk to carry around.
I told my neighbor to buy the E28R to take her dog out.
Olight has the best charger method if you're not in a hurry because for longevity usb port always damage after many uses and water can rust it. If you want faster charging just buy an extra battery off brand and charge it with a universal charger.

I know this is an old video and Warrior Mini isn’t sold anymore, but you can move the clip to the bottom of the barrel AND… it holds onto it great. The lanyard drove me nuts, the orientation of the clip drove me nuts. I have a certain way I came to orient my lights in my hand and then I’d know where the switch was… with the clip being on the head of the mini it was EXACT OPPOSITE of the way I usually carry them. So, I’m like… can’t hurt to try it out. And I am glad to tell you, It works… clip goes on the bottom and holds GREAT
E28R is Garbage! Just got one light was locked out turned on in pocket was out in the cold and it melted the plastic Lens thought they would be glass poor design.

Olight has the reversible clip, so you can carry either direction. I like it so I can carry lens down in the pocket, then quickly attach lens out on my hat brim for hands free. I realize people don't want to carry a proprietary charger, but the magnetic charger is a plus over USB. It's quicker to attach and detach, and flashlight has better water resistance.
I personally think the beam and the body of the Olight both look better. The only reason I would opt for the fenix was If I was in love with UsB-c (which I am) but also hated olights magnetic charger which I dont.

The warrior mini is getting a redesign. Maybe we'll see tail-up carry because objects in your pocket could hit the tailswitch. Also USB-c and recessed/shrouded tailswitch would be cool imo.
Olights was better a beam and I can see how usb c is more convenient for travel but at home it’s nice having a dedicated charger next to the bed that slaps on effortlessly.
Magnetic loading is 1 million times better than any fixed USB loading!! Fixed USB is a step backwards in technology and also will never be as water resistant as the magnetic version.
