Thanks for the great review, It's nice to see a reviewer actually test the beam at the distance it is rated for, not just a hand or backyard target.
Sootch, Olight has put out a recall for their Warrior Mini, and M2R Pro. You should let your fans know.
FYI Guys you put the Warrior Mini in TACTICAL MODE by holding down the tailcap button and tapping the side button once. Then it will go into Turbo mode on half press and Strobe on full press of the tail switch. - Olight Jarrod.
I own Olight, Streamlight, Surefire, Fenix, and cheap Amazon lights, but with that being said and being honest IMO I still think that Fenix is the best light for durability, reliability, power, and price. Don't get me wrong these other lights are great lights and worth buying, but in the end, I only carry Fenix and trust them the most. Thanks for another great vid sootch!!!

I owned the SR2R Baton II first, and if you also have, keep in mind this light has a warmer color temperature than the SR2R Baton II. To me, I prefer a whiter color but thats just preference, this thing produces plenty of light. Turbo mode causes the lens area to heat up more so than the SR2R Baton II. And even though this comes with a 3500 mah batt. the SR2R Baton II with its 3200 mah batt. is more efficient...imo. Also because of the tailswitch design, the magnet doesn't hold as well as the SR2R Baton II but you can still get by with it. Just posting this because those 2 lights will probably be compared more

A great feature not mentioned is thatyou can lock out the light preventing accidental turning on. Hold the side button down for like 5 seconds to lock and unlock

All I see is people bashing on olight but I love mine. I’ve got a bunch of their lights now and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Great video as always! I just got my warrior mini in FDE and obulb yesterday. Awesome edc light. A little bigger than the i5T eos I’ve been using but an astronomical improvement in performance

gG9XFrx4M agreed! The new Fenix e28r is superior to this. Olight is overrated and overpriced. Even if they were the same price the Fenix is still better.

Wish the tail cap switch was 500 to 1500. Then the smaller button for all the low modes. That would make it perfect in my opinion

There’s an actual “TACTICAL MODE” for the Warrior Mini. You might want to update your vid! 😬
The tactical mode makes it so that a half press on the tail switch (which is momentary only) is Turbo 1500L and a full press on the tail cap is strobe. Also, when in tactical mode, the side switch will act in normal mode with constant on and all of the step ups in brightness!

I got mine as part of the GoingGear EDC mothly package, im glad it does have have a tailcap and recharge capability.
does Olight have a tactical light that has NO SIDE SWITCH and just a back tailcap that is programmable?
I have two of older model ,,going strong on 3 years..i regularly put the on charger threw out year to keep battery fresh, has easy charge system
The tail cap button broke in three days. This is common as you look on Amazon reviews. Returned mine
I like the reviews but no one seems to mention the batter level light on the switch. I guess we’ll just have to figure it out if we loose the instructions. I’m sure everyone knows what red means. But once it turns orange then red, how much battery power is left

Evocati yep! Overpriced, overhyped and underpowered.....I was dumb enough to WASTE money on a few back in the day! I have numerous Olights now that blow them out of the water....and cost about HALF as much! I’m sold!
The same could be said about BGgoodrich tires, Toyota, Dan Wesson 1911s, Daniel Defense rifles, Omega dive watches, Lowa boots, Milwaukee power tools, Trijicon, Schmidt and Bender, Aimpoint, Eotech, GA Precision, Honda...but, that’s why tasco, dodge, hi point, kel tec, dewalt, o light...etc exists. For those that just want “just as good” but know it’s really junk.
Just picked one up myself, thanks for the review. Not sure if this is an issue with this model or if it’s just my light, but turbo will not turn on from the tail switch if the light is already on high mode.

Please please please make the pocket clip reversible like the warrior pro. When you pull it out of your pocket you're gonna have to rotate it 180 degrees in your hand.
My mom took baton ii s2r so she can find dust bunnies under the bed... is this a good upgrade or get another s2r?
I ran over mine with a D7 cat dozer and it didn't hurt it. Then I ran over it with a compactor and it smashed it flat.
In case anyone is curious, the relatively new Baldr Mini (which I just put on my Glock 45, and it's amazing), is NOT on sale with this "up to" 40% off flash sale. Too bad,since I want another one. I'll just have to wait until it goes on sale too.

Thanks for the reviews. Just reviewed this on their web site, not my favorite light, don’t get me wrong, it’s bright and has some great advantages, but until I can get a hard plastic case for it, I’m keeping it out of my pocket. I’m not a fan of having to keep a light “locked out” where I have to search for a small little button to press to unlock it when I might need it quickly. Unfortunately while I was seated and it was in my pocket it turned on and burned a hole in my shirt and got my side as well. I can’t wait for all the fan boys to say things which I know they will, but others out there should know that the light head end of this gets VERY hot and can burn you. Also something to make sure you keep away from kids as well. Side note, if you are in a physical confrontation with someone and you can get it in your hand and turned on, then it would work to discourage them by the heat. In any case, thanks for your reviews. in the future, can you use a non contact thermometer to show the temp of the lights? New addition Jan 2, 2021, Olight sent out an e-mail and seems to be doing a recall on these. Giving the option to send it back for a full refund due to the heat issue. Mine will be going back and I’ll wait for the next generation where the issues have been fixed.

This light caught my shorts on fire sitting in a restaurant tonight. I usually do not have anything else in my pocket that the light is in but tonight I had a spare mag and I guess it activated the light. Still love the light but beware.
I love my s2r baton too the only thing I wish that it had was a tail cap switch here it is

I tried ordering the Warrior X for about an hour and their site would not take my Visa card. There are plenty of funds and my card works with every online store. Missed the sale but sent them an email and hope they will honor the price. Bullsh**
I'm waiting on the mini pro with bezel down carry, until then I'll hang on to my baton pro. Love my olights tho.

I have a Glock 35 with a Baldr pro Olight and can’t find a holster that will work. Any ideas or suggestions ?
Ditch that pos light and get a 19 for carry. You have a gun designed for competitions.

Olight guys don’t have expensive watches. They wear junk like fossil, Nike and apple.
Ordered the black version on the flash sale. How would you compare this one to a nitecore mh27?
The newly released Fenix e28r is just as tiny, and uses the same battery. Has more throw and spill than the warrior mini. They have similar runtime, but Fenix never drops lumens that far down like Olight. The warrior mini has a tail light and magnet, features the Fenix doesn’t have. Fenix performance is superior being brighter, more throw and spill, and won’t drop so far down on turbo or high as the warrior mini. If the tail switch and magnet is important to you stick with Olight.
Gotta buy one like those !!!!

Batteries last less than a year I have two that will not charge any more. Was a good light but did not last long. For the money.
I've had original batteries in many Olights that have lasted for 5 years. If you're using them everyday constantly, it will drain them but regular use it should hold up. That's just my experience.
sootch00 were great little lights while they lasted but was not much over a year. Carried one of them about every day.
*IF* you leave any lithium ion battery discharged below 2.5 volts, it will ruin the battery fairly quickly....and reasonable amount of time and the battery is will not take a charge due to the formation of crystals in the internal separator film that prevents the positive and negative to connect and create a dead short.

Looks like a great carry flashlight, but for me that "magnetic charger" is a deal kilker. I already have to carry three different charging cords for my electronic devices, I have no interest in adding yet another.
I love olight, I ordered this one and have a half a dozen others. Am I the only one who wishes they didn’t do the magnetic tail? I don’t really need my flashlight sticking to everything else in my pocket...
I love the magnet! I do vehicle wraps soo it’s great for sticking to panels where I need light!
I’ve accidentally put them through the wash before. Still works.
After owning, caring, & using the Warrior mini, No, it’s not worth it.
I’ll stick to the S1R II as my EDC work light. My evening light is the M1T Raider Plus and weekend light is the Baton Pro. With these light I do Not see the need for the Warrior Mini and I gave mine away. I don’t like that it Needs to be locked out when carrying lens up or it turns on in your pocket. The heat buildup is what alerts you that it’s on.
I’ll be waiting on the revised version, like Apple _S series, or Warrior Mini-Pro.

I just ordered a Fenix TK26R instead. I have never needed PayPal to shop online and don't want to make an account just so I can order from Olight.
K this is literally the same price as on Amazon, so "flash sale" is pretty deceptive. The fact that the sootch code doesn't work is insulting. Great walk through of the features so at least thanks for that.

I like Olight but you got to watch him they will discontinue a flashlight and you can't even get a charger for yours if you have that particular light.

I want to like a lot of olight products, but the side switch kills it for me. I had a mini, but it kept activating in my pocket and I’d find it dead. Locking the switch takes way too long for the amount of times a day I use my light. I’ll stick with streamlight till they loose that side switch.
That's a locking mode that prevents that 😳
