i hate delicate watch when you need them most they dip forever also with how much random shit the game has i find you'll always randomly get hit by SOMETHING, no matter what. That's what makes Ethereal so hard. So whenever you get one it just feels like a matter of time before they inevitably go bye bye.

The Wax Quail always worked on both Merc jumps, its been my favorite item on him for a LONG time, I am 100% certain on this as I always asked for priority of the first one we would see when playing with my friends(they all get a priority pick too, I wasn't selfish).
My friends and I do priority picks too, gotta lean into your characters’ strengths. Ex. Huntress gets glasses, Captain gets bleed, Railgunner gets crowbars, etc. Of course eventually everyone kinda has what they need at which point anyone can just grab anything

Mithrix dashing right as a collapse stack procs has to be the coolest effect I've seen. Just this 3 meter tall god charging at you and dashing at the speed of light just as reality collapses on the place he used to be.
I swear Ghor's Tome has a higher chance of spawning when a green item drops. I had a run where the literal only green items I got were Ghor's Tome. I was so angry that I ran Command the next three runs just to take revenge.
He explained this bug once, it has something to do with hitting him frame perfectly as he transitions phases or something. Hopefully someone else actually knows lmao
There’s a single frame where Mithrix isn’t immune. If you damage him in this phase with all your items, he typically dies because he has low hp for last phase.

if you deal enough damage on the frame a boss spawns, they won't count as a boss for some weird reason. in this case, non-boss mithrix won't take your items. the damage was dealt to mithrix form the lingering kjaro band from the previous phase
It is a bug that is generally able to be performed if you have Kjaro or Runald's bands. The DoT effect from it bypasses the immunity of the boss, and since stage 3 Mithrix has so little health and you still have all your items, you tend to one-shot him
yes but you'll want a mixture of both, as their damage is multiplied separately (5 focus crystals and 5 watches is better than all 10 crystals or all 10 watches)
If you cannot consistently apply more than one stack in a three-second interval, Collapse has the better DPS. If you can apply more than one stack, but your target is going to die within 9 seconds, Collapse will still have the better DPS. If you can reach more than one stack and your target is going to live beyond 9 seconds, Bleed is the better damage.

i have been playing for a while now and I've had mithrix once just dash off of the arena during his first phase, and in another run i had a literal fuckton of mobility items, and after he took them he zoomed around the arena and kinda just phased through the barrier and fall to his death? shit was hilarious but now I'm curious how often that happens

You're thinking of Wax Quail Hopoo Feather. As an avid Mercenary player I can guarentee Wax Quail has worked on Merc properly for a LONG time.
