Void was changed on the first hot fixes of the SotV update on PC, they changed at the start of the DLC where it will drop the potential each cell but times move, then they added loot, chest, interactables etc in a hot fix after the update of SotV, then with the devotion update gearbox decide to pause the timer once again, so you get 4 White,4 greens and one reds that you can kind of choose and you get loot from the interactables worth of one stage and a half.
... i may or may not have been to void fields since the first day of the SotV DLC...
So devotion update made void great again? Thats pretty nice.
@@emperorwisel4842 it was great before, like the one we have right now but before the timer move and the void fields counted as 1 stage plus the chest and the 9 potential, now the timer doesn't move void fields doesn't count as 1 stage but you get loot worth of 1 stage and a half and the nine potential, so void field went from great to overpower.

Minimum 9 minutes for a lot of danger, and usually not much loot was not worth it
If they want voids fields to be lucrative they should make it more dangerous. Add more void enemies to that stage like the Jailers since it fits theme wise.
It's already dangerous when they get teddy bears and delicate watches
it can definitely be dangerous depending on the items/monsters. I had one the other day where they had tesla coil and crowbars or watches or something and I was dead before I saw anything spawn
They're still the gamble fields even if op when lucky. There can be Solus Probes with 5x tritip daggers and birds with atgs. You also might not resolve the void field damage without going afk for a minute before every event bubble. So, it's like a run with good defensive items can try to high-roll with the void fields.
@@SkateFallen1424exactly. That place can potentially be a complete and total nightmare based on luck. Buffing the enemies generally in a place as volatile as that isn't a good idea. Just revert the timer change
@@Beans-do6wc I do actually like the idea of having void enemies spawn there though. Or at least a void boss at the end. For a void environment, it just doesn't feel all that void-ey

Y'know, you can get actual 100s of items in Void Fields with Artifact of Sacrifice. Pair with Artifact of Command for some of the funniest scaling I've ever seen in a video game.

A way i used to turn runs or just get more loot in loops is to go in the bulwarks ambry and put the artifact of command code i can grab at least 5 items that i need either 3 hooves and 2 rings or maybe 5 crit glasses,it is possible to get legendaries which is really nice an icbm,a clover or a dios are really helpful

The most recent update changed it so that the timer is paused in the void fields, allowing you to get a ton of items without scaling the difficulty
Yeah, it seems woolie was confused about the update. The only change they made to void fields in this update is the timer pausing, the chests and interactables have been in void fields since sotv

I think time should pass half or a third as fast in the void fields, not be completely halted
can anyone confirm that the game has gotten more difficult after the devotion update? i might be imagining it but the moment it dropped i just couldn't win a single run anymore (now this could totally be a skill issue but the difference in my performance compared to before was kinda insane to me)
It doesn't feel more difficult tbh, technically I guess it's a tiny bit harder since the new stage means you'll get siphoned forest less so on average you'll get less items stage 1 but that's not a significant difference imo

Surprising to see a 17-minute video with 3 minutes of actual content and analysis. Didn't think I'd see "time suck" videos on this channel, i.e. videos designed to be of a certain length to generate ad revenue. Let alone mid-video ads/endorsements for products.
Woolie, I truly do know how hard it is to make long videos, and that people like you are (at least in some ways) underpaid for your work, effort, creativity and artistry. Please don't go down this road. Please just make content. Make your bread and support your family, but don't fall into the trap of basically every other artist on the internet - scraping by by taking advertising deals, bloating their content, producing uninteresting garbage. After beating Mithrix, go back to where you spawn (past the rescue ship) and pet the glass frog repeatedly until you get teleported to voidling. You might need lunar coins to do so i forget.

@@MorterMan easiest way is with Railgunner using his special Supercharge. All you need to do is go into a game and on the first or second stage activate the shrine and go to void fields. Get all the items. After the voidling portal should spawn next to the exit portal of the void fields. You can pretty much one shot voiding if you crit. You can do it on other characters as well since early voidling is pretty easy, but that's the easiest
