Storm Fishing on a UK Beach: The Fish are Biting!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 18 окт 2024
- Graeme goes fishing on a uk storm beach. He tries his luck on a beach but the storm he thought had passed is still blowing strongly. He is the only fisherman out for over a mile of beach but he toughs it out with just a few rank worms and he was not sure if they would work. But the saying is “fortune favours the brave”, and so it turned out on this afternoon trip that saw him staying on until dark to get the best of the conditions. There was plenty of weed piled up on the beach by the storms, but luckily for him not too much was out deeper to cause him any problems. It’s windy, but one of the Fisherman’s sayings is..”when the wind blows from the South, it blows the bait in the fish’s mouth”. Watch the film to find out if the old saying is right..Enjoy!

Rough old weather Graeme, but at least it keeps the dinghys away 😂 .
So true...Can't fish in peak summer, just too many people. Autumn and winter are my better times for a bit of beach fishing.
Your right there mate
Just like to say a massive thank you. For so many years of entertainment. Love watching you on the shore giving it always 110% effort. Great to hear your tips and advice . Very grateful for the time effort and money you put into producing inspiring videos. Stay safe well and happy fella 👍👍👍👍
Likewise, thanks Graeme
Happy Friday mate, great to see you out on the shore 👍🎣
What a great session for you Graeme, hope it tasted nice 🎣🐟
They all went back, even the larger one. Maybe next time it might be a one-way ticket to the fryng pan.
@@TAFishing Fair play Graeme 👍🎣🐟
I'm loving the colours in the clouds
Really enjoyed the video Graeme, you stayed it out and that bigger sea-Bass was a topper! Looked a rough old night to be on the beach. 🎣👍.
Always enjoy your beach fishing video Graeme. Once I've watched them I just listen to them through headphones, so relaxing the sound of waves on the beach plus a Doggie saving the blank 👍
Yes me too, if like me the slightest noise wakes you. You can buy online a white nose speaker that has that sound. Sometimes used for infants. Helped me and the wife have a better night's sleep for years now.
Well done Graham. It's great to see some healthy bass getting caught. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Top man G still at it in all weathers 👍🌊🎣🏴
Really good watch looks a great time fishing 🎣
Enjoyed this one, good production especially given the tough conditions but the fish were there. Good to see breeding stock bass returned!
Thank you for the upload Graeme, always appreciated 👍
No problem, I might be a bit pushed next week as I have to get out and do some night fishing so I try not to edit during the daytime,I just do it in the evenings as nothing on TV.
@TAFishing as and when your ready, take it easy 👍
Well done Graeme nice to see the big bass go back
Another great vidio ty for all the work you put in .
Knew you would put that big bass back Graham. Great to see and the eel definitely a small conger. Great as always.
Totally Awesome video as always Graham!
Graeme! 🙂
Evening Graeme, thanks for the fishing upload, always appreciated 👍
No probs, trying to start a midweeker for next week..might be a bit tight.
NOW THIS IS A FISHING CHANNEL SUBSCRIBE, LIKE AND SHARE & SEND TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW !!
Superb video Mr P i saw you were in Portsmouth and im guessing you saw the chinese woman for your bait thats a great spot next time you get some worm there a pound might be he way to go start saving now it will be expensive but worth it 😂 love your sea fishing videos now is the best time of year for bass as you already know !!!!
Not Portsmouth, just Hayling Island and haven't got a clue of a Chinese woman for bait ??... I don't think I have ever used a pound of Ragworm for beach fishing, maybe when I had my boat and went out Plaice fishing ,and as you say its a case of scaring the pocket book when you come to pay at the till. I tend to split between half pound of Rag and a packet of Sandeels. Usually enough for a short session.
Great stuff, Graeme. You are an inspiration, and a wonderful tutor. I've learned pretty much all I know about all kinds of fishing from your videos. Most of all, though, thank you so much for not playing the guitar anymore. Raymondo. x
Oh no !...just when I was thinking of going through the music library to dig out some Rock or Blues music.!!!!

Great session great video also 👍
Legend great video as always 👍🏻
HI Graeme , ive been watching you for a very long time , it would be nice to see you put together a video of your best catches, cheers mate.
Most of my best catches are on 35mm colour slides ,such a shame I never had a video camera back then, but I am hoping to scan a load off and do a talk-through of certain memorable trips. Something for the winter nights I feel.
Good fishing session Graeme nice to see some bass even school bass yes that was a baby conger well done mate also try some prawns too
Great video. As a coarse angler keen to do some sea fishing at Chesil beach, it would be great if you could do a video (or if you have one already) showing rods types, rigs, baits, for different species and beach fishing… like a tutorial please 😊
It's always great watching TA fishing way better than watching anything else these days with everything going on 😂😂😂
Thanks Graeme.
brilliant Audio
Blimey, that's the first comment I ever had on my terrible broken camera microphone that's covered with a bit of electrical tape and foam to try and muffle the wind noise. I guess I just got lucky. But it was a rough night of weather so it must have been overpowered !!
I’m sensing there was a bit of a storm. Judging by all that seaweed and shingle displacement 😬
Can be a good time for fishing, after a blow and just as it is starting to drop down. Fine if you are lucky enough to live by the sea,but for an "inlander" its always a bit of a risk hoping you are going to catch it just right.
Loved this one Graeme! Really nice Bass! Keep them coming!
Those manky worms came through good.
They did in the end,I guess the fish were feeding on anything after the storm.
That time of the week again get in
maybe a useful tip for bass. I live in the UK but also have a place on the Massachusetts coast. Over there we use Circle Hooks for striped bass. It helps hook them and also avoids any deep hooking. Just a thought given how many tips you give us :-)
Just noticed your new chair. Did the famous TA Fishing chair finally expire?
The old beach chair did finally collapse, but Mike gave me a vintage Landrover folding chair that is still quite light.
Get the big ones in your belly Graeme. You got into a shoal of bass and not a shingle one in the pan?😊
👍👍👍
I guess im spoiled living and fishing the east cost of America. all them fish you hooked we would have kept them for live bait . That size is perfect for stripers and blue fish bait. I enjoy watching what other places think are nice fish
We can only catch what species of fish we have in our waters . I wish we had something larger like the Striped Bass, maybe some might take the "long swim" over from your waters...They would be appreciated for sure.
Do you fish, bait collect or just shore forage along the south coast? If yes then you need to check out the Southern IFCA proposals for bye-laws to be introduced in a number of MCZs that will prohibit bait gathering or even harvesting sea weed by Joe Public. It’s the thin end of the wedge guys, don’t think it ain’t happening.
Fuckin awesome video Graeme
Why can't limpits be used as bait? I have used them when crabbing with my kids when they were young. All these rules and regulations are hard to keep up with at my age😃
I didn't know that either .
I fished with slipper limpits over 60 years ago, they were the best bait for Flounders(when we had some !) and Bass after a good storm.Apparently they are invasive but been in our waters for who knows how long. I would have thought using them as bait would help thin them out ? but the crackers way of thinking now just doesn't make any sense at all. Who are these people we just allow to make all the "rules" ?...they probably don't even fish.
why you not take the Bass home for cooking ? maybe it would make your trip worthwhile.
Catching the fish was worthwhile in its own right ,deciding whether to keep them or not is an option and I suddenly thought I would let the bigger one go even though I was thinking of having it for a catch-and-cook...There will be other fish no doubt, I was just grateful for having a halfway decent beach session for a change.
Storm , rough weather ? 🤣😂🤣👎👎 Dude there are not even white heads around , it's just a bit windy and that's it . Go beach fishing with head-on force 8 wind and snow blizard and then we talk again . 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Why ???Is there some sort of medal for it ? Can't think of one good reason why I would want to do that.
