I love acacia wood!!
We have black acacia wood here in western Canada. Here the wood is very dense as the trees grow slow. When it's fresh cut here the sawdust is a bright lime green. The wood also has a green tint and then as the wood dries it turns to a nice honey color wood.
Awesome project.

WOW, that looks amazing. I like the combination of "cold" material like epoxy, lights and steal and the warm element wood. The integration of the light programs is elegant and useful and very practically. I really like it.

Amazing project! coming from just having built a neopixel lightsaber, I need to ask. Did you consider using a diffuser material for the LEDs or was it supposed to show the individual lights? I think it would probably have made it look so much better! Buy amazing either way!
