Dennis - thanks for the great review!! I'm thinking about purchasing a 36" Bluestar Nova range but hesitate because it looks like a big pain to keep clean. I like to keep things tidy but I can be clumsy so I wipe my stove down almost every time I use it because of the inevitable crumbs, splashes, splatters, and spills. You said you were going to purchase a Bluestar range, so I'm curious about your experience. Does the excellent cooking experience outweigh the annoying cleaning experience?
I am a servicer for BlueStar and absolutely love them. I worked at a competitor manufacturer as a technical advisor and to see how the BlueStar engineers really thought of service should a product require it is fascinating. The products are simple, built tough and consumer friendly. They are a pleasure to work with.
I love my platinum 48. I use them side oven more than the larger. Quicker preheat, and it’s very stable with no hot zones. Very well done. But both ovens get very hot, like for focaccia, and great for low temp holding of a smoked brisket. An outstanding product. I also like not having electronics on my range. I have a SZ Pro48 and wished BS had made a 48” model. One aggravation with the pro48 is when a single ice cube falls out of the tray and falls behind the tray, you cannot close the drawer and is a hell of a reach to get it out; keep long bbq tongs around to reach it.
I love the knobs. Red, Jungle Red. What's not to love? What's not to love is that the knobs aren't in a straight line across the face of the range. To me, those offset knobs look untidy and out of balance. When touch screens were first introduced, I did enjoy them and used them without a thought. But now they're everywhere, and I can't take it anymore. I rejoice in knobs and dials now.

I really like oven sizes, burner design & total functionality. I will definitely keep this in mind going forward!
I know the authorized Bluestar dealer here in San Antonio is selling a lot of the appliances, mostly to culinary professionals.

Excellent informative video! Thank you
Hey! At 0:11 you said we were going to get a wok-through. No wok cooking by Ann at all....😡
Great review! Wondering about the noise level of the new column fridge & freezer?!?!
Can you get wheels for roll out cleaning ?
Thanks for this informative video.
Whatever happened to Hestan indoor appliances? I don't hear or see much about them anymore.
Good question....It was a funky range. I liked it, but wasn't popular.
