I agree on the picture books even for the older high school teens. I just graduated one from high school in May. He really enjoyed those books as well.
Another recommend for the Garden, the Curtain and the Cross! So good! My only minor complaint is that they don't address repentance which leaves the message incomplete in my opinion. Otherwise such a great summary of the main gospel message in a kid friendly way

You are so welcome! I use Montessori style bookshelves for the main ones we’re focusing on that week…a few go in our morning basket…the overflow goes in the fireplace storage…and lastly, the seasonal ones that are out of season go in bins in the basement. I hope that helps! 😅
There are so many bad books in the world that it can be very disillusioning trying to find a good one. That is one reason that I penned 3 of my own books, and one is a children's book (about twelve angels and twelve questions). I am not a mother, but I believe it is important not to lose a childlike regard for spiritual health.
