Luigi made me realize how much I like the idea of a sidekick or partner of the main character always doing random stuff in the background while the other characters talk. Like Batman and Commissioner Gordon are discussing how the placing of the stab wounds tie back to the Riddler’s scheme while Robin is just kicking the body to see if it wakes up lol.
Similar stuff can happen in BG3 Like, you're having an important conversation with another party member, and then in the background, Karlach is just hitting a jig
Bowser really gets done dirty in this game. He immediately lends the Mushroom Kingdom his aid when they are attacked, then gets blown up, gets amnesia, gets posessed, and then taken prisoner by the beans and presented to Princess Peach as a goodwill gift. Shows him for trying to help a neighboring kingdom in their time of need!
I never realized how strange it is that the protector of the Beanbean Kingdom can only be awakened.. by the voice of the neighboring kingdom’s monarch. That’s like if the British Military could only be commanded by the President of the United States.
...I mean, the UK military absolutely can be commanded by the US President. Like, I don't know if you're old enough to remember the beginning of the Second Gulf War, but that was absolutely a thing that happened.
I mean it technically worked effectively, as it forced them to make enemies of two kingdoms rather than one, and additionally provoked the Mario bros. If all the required components had been within the Beanbean kingdom, they would have won easily
To be fair, if you wanted to keep the power of said guardian from falling into the wrong hands, making a partnership with your neighbor kingdom so anyone trying to get to it would have to go screw with said kingdom is pretty smart. Once word gets out that someone stole the current monarch’s voice, this would let both kingdoms know something is up and take action.
I like to think that mushroom kingdom coins didn't go to severe hell in value, but the prince just made beanbean coins absurdly valuable just for a few hours for the bet in particular

This was the first game I ever got myself. My parents gave it to me for my first time on a plane because they didnt know how I whould react. I didnt speak english yet so this game is what I used to teach myself english. I have nothing but amazing memories about this game. God bless you for showing this to me again

Y'think about it, of course the Mushroom Kingdom's currency is so worthless elsewhere. They have zero security aside from two middle-aged plumbers, their head of state is being constantly kidnapped, and their people *scream everything at such deafening level* no one wants to trade with them. And bear in mind, this is consistent across games, considering Yoshi Coins from Mario RPG are worth so much more than the Mushroom Kingdom variety.

It's a real shame that AlphaDream became bankrupt and that we won't another Mario & Luigi game from them again. I still hope we do get another new Mario & Luigi game in future even if it's done by another developer as a Switch game would be amazing to see. *The beans shall rise again even if it puts the Mushroom Kingdom into another economic crisis!*
Careful with your wishing. It might end up with the Nintendo's current guidelines for characters where you can't deviate from the mainline games. I heard that AlphaDream even ended up having beef with Nintendo over this in the mid 2010s. Of course, the movie may make them reconsider, seeing as it made $876.4 million without taking the costs of making the movie into account ($100 million) which is about $11 million less than what New Super Mario Bros. U made on the Switch. Which of course, means there's money in being a bit lenient with the character designs.

Plot: Mrs. Bean, the disgruntled ex wife of Mr. Bean takes out a monarch of another country and tries to use their voice to awaken the Beanstar, the sacred object of the Mr. Bean world that gives him all his mystical powers.
I honestly really hope if he does more of the Mario RPGs he goes in order. The through line between the 4 good ones is really good. Also while not the best in the series I feel like Partners in Time builds excellent atmosphere.
I hope Dan plays the entire series eventually overtime. One of my favorite spin off franchises of all time for sure.

god i loved this game as a kid. when i was like 4-5 i had a gameboy and this came with it. it was too hard for me back then but i replayed it more recently and i loved every second of it

i absolutely adore this game, so underated, so wonderful, the goofy characters, fighting mechanics, puzzle solving, it's great
If RT plays all of these, that would make me unbelievably happy. Games like Dream Team and Bowser's inside story are some of my favourite games of all time.

Okay so, I haven’t played Superstar Saga in a LONG time, and since the damage numbers just keep going up throughout the games, I see a counterattack do 124 damage and I think, “yeah that’s a little bit high” and then it erases both of cackletta soul’s hands and I remember.
I hope he plays some of the other Mario and Luigi games. It’s such a great series

@@randoontheinternet5842 i don’t know about that. Dream team was able to have tons of new characters and ideas and it came out after paper Mario sticker star plus they introduced entirely new characters in the side mode of the bis remake.
@@bagelgod946 I think that’s because Nintendo let the M&L series keep doing original things but than stopped them during Paper Jam’s development, Even in Dream Team they were showing signs of restraint by making Bowser the final boss instead of Antasma
